5 MUST-HAVE PRODUCTS FOR A RESTORATIVE NIGHT'S SLEEP

Hi there, my darlings! That quote up there...story of my life! =) I can unashamedly proclaim that I love to sleep and really, there's nothing better than a great night...or day of sleep. It's great for the mind, body AND soul. I work REALLY hard during the week--full-time job followed by full-time blogging. So, whenever I get a chance to sleep, like this past Memorial Day long weekend, for a few hours...or many more, you better believe I grab it with both hands! But getting to sleep isn't always easy--my brain ticks away at a million miles an hour and although, I may want and need to sleep, I lay awake...for hours. Today's post is all about 5 great products to help you get to sleep and STAY asleep so you can awake refreshed and restored!

1. & 2. First are two products I've already reviewed recently--Gurin's Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser and Instanatural's Lavender Essential Oil. I've recently gotten majorly into Aromatherapy and Essential Oils and these two are my favorites for a great night's sleep. The Lavender oil just soothes, calms and relaxes after a long day and the diffuser ensures that just the right amount of Lavender aroma permeates the air. Love this combo! You can find my full reviews on each of these products HERE and HERE.

Price of essential oil diffuser : $27.95
Price of lavender essential oil : $19.97

3. The next product is nothing but magic! Vita Sciences' Maxasorb Melatonin Cream is a fast-absorbing cream that contains 3 mg of Melatonin per pump. Melatonin is the hormone naturally produced by the body to regulate the circadian rhythm, i.e., your day-night, sleeping-waking cycle. On nights when I'm particularly exhausted or when I'm running on insufficient amounts of sleep, I just massage a couple of pumps of the cream into my arms and about 30 mins later, I'm knocked out like a log! It not only helps me get to sleep faster but keeps me asleep for longer! Such a blessing on so many nights!

Price : $19.95 (on sale)

4. The next product targets and soothes that part of your body that, after your brain, you use most--your eyes! I know I'm not alone when I say that I spend a huge portion of my waking hours staring at my computer or my smartphone. And I wear contacts! All in all, my eyes are constantly under strain and as I get older, I've noticed more frequent dark circles, if not wrinkles...yet! This is where VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Masks comes in. These gel-backed eye masks not only soothe tired, achy eyes and help with puffiness/bags under the eyes but the active plant extracts targets wrinkles and have anti-aging properties. Win-win! With regular use, you'll definitely notice an improvement in the look and feel of your eyes--the recommended treatment is 3 boxes or 18 masks, used 2-3 times a week. So, slap these babies on and go to sleep--your eyes will thank you in the morning!

Price : $59.99 for a pack of 6

5. Last but definitely not the least is the best pillow I have EVER slept on! I'm talking about the Shredded Memory Foam Pillow With Kool-Flow Micro-Vented Bamboo Cover pictured below. I used to wake up with a crick in my neck and upper back pain at least 3 mornings every single week! But, with this pillow, I've not only slept better than I have in years but no more weird aches or pains! It's SO comfortable, like a hug for your head! Lol! Honestly, I do not exaggerate when I say that I'm now a fan for life and will never sleep on any other pillow, despite the price tag! This is an investment in better sleep and I, for one, am completely willing to make it!

Price : $44.99

So there you have it, my darlings! What are your favorite tricks and tips for a better night's sleep? Do you have and love a favorite product for a great night's sleep? I'd love to hear all about them in the comments section below!

  1. No special products in my routine for a good night's sleep. I think my kids and job keep me sufficiently worn out to fall asleep most nights. :-)
