GLISTEN & GLOW Ctrl-Alt-Del : Review and Nail Art

Hi there, my darlings! This afternoon, I'd like to introduce you to a fabulous new duo from my polish bff, Jill of Glisten & Glow--the Protect and Replenish duo comprised of her brand-new Sangria White Peach cuticle oil-infused latex barrier, Ctrl-Alt-Del and the coordinating cuticle oil in Sangria White Peach.

Ctrl-Alt-Del is absolutely fabulous--one of the best latex nail and cuticle protectors out there! And trust me, I've tried a whole bunch. What sets it apart is that fact that she's added the cuticle oil to the product itself so that what you're left with is a latex barrier than not only protects your cuticles while you're creating nail art but also deeply moisturizes.

The other great thing I noticed about this product is the ease with which the latex came off from around my fingers--I think the addition of the oil changed the consistency enough that it became easier to work with. The latex, once dry, comes off in one, or maximum two, large pieces without leaving any annoying little bits behind!

As you can see in the picture below, I really slathered it on, covering every little nook and cranny around my cuticles because I was going to undertake a really, REALLY messy bit of nail art--Sharpie watermarbling followed by microglitter sponging. Eek!

But I really didn't have to worry! Ctrl-Alt-Del bore the brunt of the mess and then came off easy-peasy, leaving no little bits behind. And voila! Gorgeous nail art without the hassle of too much clean-up! YAY!

With flash!

The coordinating cuticle oil is one of Jill's most popular scents--Sangria White Peach. A tangy, fruity fragrance, this will immediately transport you to your favorite summer beach getaway--just a whiff will have you thinking of digging your toes in the sand, with your fave drink in hand. Add to that how fast this oil absorbs, it's no wonder that this cuticle oil is so popular! One of my personal favorites too!

So there you have it, my darlings! You can find the Protect and Replenish Duo in Glisten & Glow's store HERE for the price of $15.00. If you want to know more about Glisten & Glow's line of products  you can find her on the social media sites below :

Until next time,

****Products were sent to me for an honest, unbiased review. All opinions are my own.****

  1. There are so many latex nail barriers out there it's hard to tell what sets them apart, thanks for a thorough review, not leaving lots of little bits behind is important! How was dry time?

  2. I agree with Tanya that there are a ton of liquid barriers out there. I've tried a few of them and found one of them tends to rub off before I'm ready. Does this one stay in place until you remove it or did you have any issues with it lifting at the edges?

    1. I used a pair of tweezers which I find most useful with latex and this came right off easy-peasy. I will show you an example the next time I do nail art! =)

    2. When I was good and ready that is! =)
