Hi there, my darlings! I have one more quick post for you all! This afternoon, let's talk about my review of a product that promises to do away with pesky pimples--Dream Dots.

As always, let's take a quick peek at the product description :

What is a Dream Dot?
A Dream Dot isn’t simply a sticker — it’s a unique super absorbent hydro matrix patch. It targets spots and breakouts overnight using no harsh ingredients, yet gives dramatically effective results. With a 100% waterproof, breathable, satin-smooth, wafer-thin surface, it acts seamlessly as a second skin, conforming to any contour of the face. On contact with the spot, the patented core locks in and absorbs the spot exudate. A moist healing environment is formed, maintaining ideal pH balance, temperature and hydration levels while sealing in repair factors, which leads to faster healing. Pain is reduced as nerve endings are cushioned and protected in this moist condition. The patch swells and turns white overnight as it absorbs exudate giving a visible reduction in redness and inflammation when removed in the morning.

USE AND IMPRESSIONS : Just around the time this product arrived to me, I sprouted a rather large bump on the side of my face, just under my "sideburns" or whatever you call that spot of hair for women. So, although I was not happy about this pimple--I mean, how come my face does NOT get that I'm no longer a teenager--I was quite excited to try the Dream Dot on it. I applied it at night and happily went to bed--I have to admit I nearly ran to the bathroom mirror the next morning and...the bump was still there. Disappointed and preaching patience to myself, I tried again for the next 3 nights. And I STILL have that bump. The Dream Dot soothed the pain of it but even after 3 nights, it didn't do much to speed the recovery of that particular blemish.

Determined to give it another try, especially since another annoying little monster popped up on my face, earlier this week, I tried again...with the same results. The Dream Dot DOES soothe the pain of a pimple but doesn't really do much to speed up the healing process--you just have to be patient and leave it to Mother Nature. Sigh.

If you would like to try Dream Dots out for yourself, you can find it in a 24-pack on Amazon HERE for the price of $17.90 or in a 48-pack HERE FOR $29.90.

What is your go-to blemish-fighting product? I'd love to hear about them in the comments section below!

Hi, my darlings! My girl, Cameo of Cameo Colours Lacquers is releasing a new collection tomorrow and this afternoon, I'd like to share my swatches with you all! Without further ado, I'd like to present the Debutante collection, releasing Friday, May 1st.

Before we get to into swatches, I'd like to mention the formula and application of these polishes. All of 5 crellies applied beautifully and except for Lucille, I used 3 thin coats for all the swatches, topped with 1 coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl to finish the look--perfectly opaque and none of the clumping issues that flakies sometimes have! Charlotte was opaque in just 2 easy coats and smooth to the touch with 2 thin coats of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl--I loved that this one wasn't gritty or difficult to apply despite being chock-full of microflakies!

Eleanor is described as "a purple pastel-ish neon crelly, with multichromatic flakies that shift purple, burgundy, gold, and a light scattered holographic sparkle." One of my favorites, I love this shade of purple!

With flash!

Rosie is described as "a pink pastel-ish neon crelly, with multichromatic flakies that shift pink, green, gold, and a light scattered holographic sparkle." A really flattering shade of pink for my complexion!

With flash!

Lucille is described as "a green pastel-ish neon crelly, with multichromatic flakies that shift blue, green, teal, and a light scattered holographic sparkle." Lucille was the easiest to work with and fully opaque is just 2 easy coats.

With flash!

Savannah is described "as a blue pastel-ish neon crelly, with multichromatic flakies that shift magenta, teal, gold, and a light scattered holographic sparkle." Another instant favorite! You know I love my blues!

With flash!

Charlotte is the only non-crelly of the bunch and is described as a micro silver flake full coverage polish, with multichromatic flakies and a hint of scattered holographic sparkle. Great base for nail art!

With flash!

So there you have it, my darlings! The Debutante collection from Cameo Colours Lacquers launches tomorrow, Friday, May 1st.You can find them HERE for the price of $9 for a full-size, 15 mL bottle of the crellies and $10 for Charlotte. I've already gushed about how much I love Jin and now it's time to gush about how much I love her products--my first experience with them was VERY favorable!

Part of the My Favorite Things collection inspired by bits and pieces of stories, jokes and funny moments with Jin's besties, I've Never Been Ginger is "a tardis blue and holographic glitter in a dark blue jelly base, with a strong reference to Doctor Who." Smooth, easy application and formula--it went on like butter and dried super quick! The swatches below show 2 generous coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. So sparkly!

From Valentine’s Day collection Troubled Love, I Will Survive is "a dark berry red jelly with holographic glitter in different sizes." Jellies tend to be fairly sheer but I was delighted to see that this was not--the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I'm seriously in love with this one--you know, I love my berries!

With flash!

From the St. Patrick’s Day Sham-Rockin’ collection, Stouting is "a very dark forest green holographic polish." No complaints at all with the formula or application--the swatches below show just 2 thin coats by itself. Such a rich, deep shade of green!

With flash!

Tsahik is "part of the Life On Pandora collection of holographic neon polishes, inspired by the glowing neon colors of the star Pandora, as they are portrayed in the movie Avatar." One of my personal favorites in this bunch, Tsahik is "a bright holographic orange/coral red polish." Lovely formula and application, the swatches below show just 2 easy coats by itself. This shade is oh-so-gorgeous and perfect for warmer weather!

With flash!

Part of the Mood Swings collection of thermochromic shimmer polishes, Fascinated is "a thermochromic nail polish which changes from a dark cold purple with blue, violet and fuchsia shimmer to a medium cornflower blue / blurple." This beauty dried just a smidgen on the matte side sot the swatches below show 2 coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. How seriously amazing is this color?! I almost died!

With flash!

And in its warm/hot state, it's just as gorgeous!

Part of the Valentine’s Day collection Troubled Love, Foolish Heart is "a thermal polish that changes colors from dark crimson blue-ish mulberry red when cold to a fire red when warm." This sexy shade applied beautifully--the swatches below show 2 coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Another instant favorite!

Hi there, my darlings! It's been a crazy day for me so today's post will be short and sweet--let's talk about my review of a luxurious little cream, Luxe D'Soie's Argan Oil-infused Cream.

As always, let's take a quick peek at the product description :

  • Luxe de Soie, super-charged with Safflower Oil, Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Vitamins and Botanical Extracts, is designed for your delicate facial tissue, but is equally great to use anywhere on your skin: hands, feet, arms, legs, body
  • This synergistic blend of natural oils, butters and vitamins (Safflower Oil, Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Vitamins A, C, and E, and Botanical Extracts of Chamomile, Comfrey, Cucumber, and Aloe Vera is hypo-allergenic and Paraben-Free, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free, Alcohol-Free and Cruelty-Free (No animal testing ever), and includes no genetically-modified ingredients
  • We force our creams to carry a full 10% pure Argan oil, which adds even more vitamins, antioxidants and EFAs (essential fatty acids) to our already nutrient-filled cream base, to help restore radiant, healthy glowing skin and combat damage from aging and environmental damage
  • It goes to work immediately upon application, absorbing deep into your pores to nourish and rehydrate skin cells, help rebuild collagen lost to aging, and reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and lines, helping your skin regain its soft, supple, healthful appearance and feel.
  • Luxe de Soie will delight your entire body with its potent ability to help moisturize, hydrate, condition skin and visibly reduce signs of aging: fine lines, wrinkles and dry, rough skin

USE AND IMPRESSIONS : My face is quite sensitive and prone to breakouts so I only tried this cream on my face a couple of times--the cream is quite rich and thick so it wasn't really suited for my face. If you have very dry skin on your face, I would happily recommend this product for you.

I did, however, use it on my hands and arms after particularly long nights of swatching and I have to say it feels amazing! Massaging just a little into my hands left them smooth and feeling so hydrated, so soft. I'm also a huge fan of the honeysuckle scent of this product--one of my all-time favorite scents!

If you would like to try this moisturizer out for yourself, you can find it on Amazon HERE for the price of $16.99 for a 2.0 fl oz tub--just a little goes a long way!

What is your favorite scents in a good cream? Or do you prefer unscented? I'd love to hear about them in the comments section below!
