A taste of LOLLIPOP POSSE LACQUER : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Tell me why, as soon as I'm on any kind of break, whether it be a 3-day weekend or a longer week-long deal, my body immediately decides it doesn't need to sleep at night?! I mean, I know I'm a night owl but really?! 9 am was bedtime today! Just be forewarned--ALL posts will be later than sooner this week! Anywho, as part of our epic Maker's Faves Giveaway, I promised you reveals and swatches of the chosen faves whenever I could. Today, I'll be sharing the very first reveal...plus a few more! Karen of Lollipop Posse Lacquer wanted to give me a taste of her polishes and man! What a great first impression! Take a peek!

Boys Can't Be Men is described as "a shockingly pink crelly with aqua shimmer and matte blue triangle, square, and hex glitters." This polish  is chock-full of glitters but it applied so easily--I didn't have to fish for all those glitters you see in the pics and full opacity can be reached with 2 coats, depending on how thick you paint. The swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. I love how bright blue glitters pop against the bright pink! So fun!

Love Belongs To Desire is described as "a rich berry-colored crelly base packed with silver holo micro shreds, purple holo glitters, and holo micro flakes." Smooth, easy formula and application--the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. I absolutely adore this polish!

Small, Obscure, Plain and Little is described as "a grey, scattered holographic shade with shimmer that shifts between violet and blue depending on the lighting and angle." Lovely formula and applicaton--the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. An utterly gorgeous grey, the shimmer was all but impossible to capture on film but is intense and beautiful in real life!

I'm The Party Pooper is described as "a rich, plum-colored crelly with a red-shimmered base and large gold shimmer mixed generously throughout." This polish is PACKED with shimmer with it and it applied just beautifully--all that gold didn't clump together and full opacity can be reached with 2 coats, depending on how thick you paint. The swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. Perfect, squishy, vampy goodness!

And I had to see how it would look mattefied with OPI Matte Finish Topcoat...ad I can't decide which look I like better!

REVEAL : Karen's Pick for Fave Creation of 2015

That's How Witch Babies Are is described as "a vivid blurple crelly base with neon purple flakies and a scattered holographic effect" Fantastic formula and application--the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. This is so stunning, I can totally see why Karen chose this beauty!
