Good morning, my darlings! It's an absolutely beautiful Spring day in NYC and the temperatures are supposed to hit the 70s today! I'm going to be super busy today but I'm in such a GOOD mood! I think it's the combination of the weather, the fact that I got a little extra sleep last night and...the lingering scent of fabulous wax melt in Berry Champagne I decided to treat my senses to last night. Whatever it may be, I'm loving this Spring Thursday and to celebrate the day, I'd like to share with you all a collection that was just made for Spring--the Crellies of the Rainbow collection from Lexi of Painted Polish!

The Crellies of the Rainbow collection consists of 7 white crellies with added tiny glitters. Now, I'm usually not a big fan of crellies and I never really got into that craze. I mean, I really don't have the time or patience to apply multiple coats of polish and then multiple coats of multiple topcoats and then wait an eternity for it to dry...only to have a kinda bumpy mani. I haven't really mastered the technique of a smooth crelly finish...until now that is! I'll tell you right off the bat--these crellies are different! The glitters are not bulky or unwieldy, the application is as smooth as I've ever experienced with a crelly and dry time was pretty darn quick. But the best part? I got a smooth mani with just ONE generous coat of topcoat! That's how fabulous these are! Perfectly opaque in 2 easy coats or heck, even 1 if you painta thick coat, I added a third coat for extra glitter coverage. The swatches below show just 3 thin coats of each polish by itself, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat for to bring it all together. Yup, it's that simple! Take a look at my results!

Blue as Summer Skies is a white crelly full of tiny blue and silver glitters. I love that Lexi added a couple of shades of blue to this--so pretty!

Green as Spring is a white crelly full of tiny green glitters. Totally a perfect green for Spring!

Orange as a Creamsicle is a white crelly full of tiny orange glitters. I don't often like oranges but this is such a juicy, delicious looking polish that I couldn't help but love it!

Purple as a Pansy is a white crelly full of tiny purple and silver glitters. I love purple anything so this was definitely one of my faves!

Red as Cherry Pie is a white crelly full of tiny red glitters. I love reds and I love how the red pops against the white! Gorgeous!

Yellow as Honey is a white crelly full of tiny yellow and gold glitters. I really like the gold accents with the yellow in this polish! So fun!

Finally to round out the collection, Chasing Rainbows is a white crelly full of tiny glitters in all the colors of the rainbow. Another instant fave!

So there you have it, my darlings! All these beautiful crellies are currently available on Painted Polish's website HERE for the price of $10.00 for each full-size, 15 mL bottle. You can snag the entire collection for $65.00 and save a bit of change!

Hi there, my darlings! Now, it's been quite awhile since I've shared something from NailNation 3000, now hasn't it?! Now, trust me, it's not because of lack of love on either of our parts! Maria and I adore each other and her brand is one of my first true indie polish loves! Let's just chalk it up to a couple of missed connections and leave it at that! But, I'm happy to say that we're getting back on track and I have the first, of what I hope will be many, post with a few shades from Maria that I feel are just perfect for Spring! Let's take a look!

Creme de Bleau is a bright aqua blue creme. Smooth, easy formula and application--the swatches below show just 2 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Such a gorgeous, happy shade of blue!

First Kiss is described as "a soft sweet light petal pink pearl with a soft holo." These kind of frosty, metallic pearlescent shades can be a pain to work with but this one applied beautifully! A tad streaky on the first coat but levels out quite nicely by the second---the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. A lovely shade of delicate pink!

Holo Dreams is described as "a quadruple MEGA holo steel silver holo that has a BIG holo pop on its own." I love Maria's holos and mega holos--they always apply like a dream. Although fully opaque in 2 coats, I added a third for extra sparkle--the swatches below show just 3 thin coats by itself. Seriously, just LOOK at that holo!

One Last Dance is described as "a strong vibrant soft pink metallic holo with pale pink micro glitters and rich metallic purple glitters pack in for a beautiful effect." Despite being packed with little glitters, application was a breeze---the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. I'm usually a purist when it comes to holos but I made an immediate exception for this baby! Doesn't this just look like orchids in a polish?! So gorgeous!

Rags to Riches is described as an "kelly emerald green holo." Another perfect holo in formula and application---the swatches below show just 3 thin coats by itself.  Totally the perfect emerald green!

With flash!

Walkers, Reamers, Biters, OH MY! is described as "a bright cherry red with a jellie base and a medium holo fame and flecks of golden and pink micas."  Smooth, easy formula and application--this polish is so easy to work with! Although fully opaque in 2 coats, I added one more for extra oomph--the swatches below show just 3 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. I'm a sucker for reds and this is a perfect red!
