Hi there, my darlings! I am going away this weekend for a much-needed mini break! And where am I going? Off to see Jill of Glisten & Glow in Connecticut! But before I go, and keeping with my mood of total R & R, I'd like to share with you my thoughts on Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts.

First, let's take a quick look at the product description and the brand's claims :

  • Dead Sea Salts are the Best Bath Salts on The Planet - Much Higher Mineral Concentration than Epsom Salt! with a High Concentration of Minerals which are Essential for Proper Skin Health and Beauty
  • Adovia Dead Sea Salt is Fine Grain for Faster Dissolving - Packaged in a Resealable Zip Lock Bag
  • Provides relief from Psoriasis, Eczema, and Arthritis symptoms. Formulated with over 26 essential minerals the body needs for natural soothing and relaxation.
  • Find Relief from Aches and Pains by Soaking in a Bath full of these Salts. Rejuvenates, exfoliates, and softens while it soothes!
  • Contains absolutely zero additives, colors, or scents. Higher Level of Minerals and Relief than Epsom Salts

USES AND IMPRESSIONS : So, despite having quite a spacious apartment in Brooklyn (by NYC standards), the bathtub is not very comfortable for a prolonged soak...believe me I tried. That being said, I found multiples uses for these bath salts. After a long night of swatching, I make a little soak for my hands with these salts, coconut oil (or any moisturizing oil you prefer) and warm water--sometimes I add a few drops of my fave cuticle oil or essential oil for good measure. Or on a night when I'm particularly exhausted and achy, I soak my feet in a similar soak. I can't even begin to tell you how much better my skin and my mood feels after a good soak--after that, a little deep moisturization and my skin is golden! Literally! Oh and I really appreciate the resealable bag this comes in!

So there you have it, my darlings! If you would like to pick up your very own Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts and try it out for yourself, maybe in a more comfy bathtub, you can find it on Amazon HERE for the price of $11.95 for a hefty, 1.75 lb pouch

What do you think of this product? Is this something you would like to try? Do you enjoy bath salts or bubble baths? I'd love to hear your opinions in the comments section below!

Until next time,

Hi there, my darlings! Bright and early this morning, I bring you some exciting restock news as well as my swatches of a collection I absolutely adore in all its entirety--Smitten Polish's Valentine's Day 2015 collection! Valentine's Day already way past, you say? Ah! Never fear because this collection would be just as gorgeous in the Spring...or heck, any time of the year!

Before we get to swatches, let's quickly discuss the formula and application of these polishes. Across the board, and I have no idea how Noelie manages to get them perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME, all four of these polishes applied fabulously--smooth and even. The mattes applied evenly and dried to a perfect matte finish in just two easy coats while the two holos were 2 thin coats of shiny holographic beauty. Honestly...I had no issues to report. AT ALL. Now, with that out of the way, on to swatches!

Hug Me is a baby pink polish with tons of silver shimmer and a perfect matte finish. So impressed with this matte formula! Just look at that shimmer!

Let's Kiss is a lavender polish with tons of silver shimmer and a perfect matte finish. I absolutely love this color! So pretty and it'll be perfect for Spring!

The Accidental Nudist is a peachy-nude linear holographic polish. Finally! A nude that completely flatters my complexion!

With flash!

Date Night is a shocking neon pink linear holographic polis. Though I had a hard time choosing, if I had to choose, I would say this is my favorite of this collection! I mean, how stunning is this, right?!

With flash!

So there you have it, my darlings! This collection is being restocked tomorrow, 2/28/2015 along with 2 new pretties for St. Patrick's Day at 2 pm CST in Noelie's store HERE for the price of $11.50 for a full-size, 0.5 oz holo and $9.50 for a full-size, 0.5 oz matte polish! Hi there, my darlings! It's still REALLY cold in NYC and I'm so ready for Spring! So, to maybe herald the coming of Spring, I would like to share with you all my swatches of the absolutely seasonally perfect and oh-so-pretty Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment's Delight collection for Spring 2015

The Satins collection consists of 3 pastel cremes and 3 shimmery metallics. As is most often the case with my Zoyas, I had very little to complain about when it cam to the formula and application--the first coat of the cremes did tend to go on a little streaky but by the second or third coat, the polishes leveled out perfectly! All the swatches of the cremesbelow show 3 thin coats while the metallicas were perfectly opaque and absolutely perfect in just 2 easy coats! Now, on to swatches!

Tiana is described as "a pistachio gelato green in a glossy cream finish"I have very few greens in my stash because I usually don't care for greens but this one is absolutely gorgeous!

Eden is described as "a classic spring flower pink in a glossy cream finish"I have to say...this os a gorgeous pink creme!

Lillian is described as "a faded aquamarine with a glossy cream finish". I LOVE this color--I just can't resist a good blue!

Rayne is described as "a dewy, spring blue metallic with an energizing turquoise metallic flash"Speaking of gorgeous blues, this one is to DIE FOR!

With flash!

Leslie is described as "a soft spring lavender metallic with an energizing turquoise flash."Isn't this shade just perfect for Spring?!

With flash!

Daisy is described as "a refreshing lemon merengue yellow metallic with an energizing turquoise metallic flash"Again, I don't often like yellows but the shimmer throughout this polish makes it hard to resist!

With flash!

Hi there, my darlings! I have one more quick post to share with you all today! I'd like to share my experience with Body Merry's Stretch Marks and Scars Defense Cream...phew! That's quite the mouthful!

Before we get to my personal experience, let's take a quick look at the product as described by the brand :

  • Safe Natural & Organic Ingredients: A bunch of premium natural and organic ingredients make up this formulation - Organic Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Vitamins E + C + B3 + B5, Sunflower Seed Oil, Plant Stem Cells, Organic Hemp Seed Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Organic Gotu Kala, Algae Extract and Japanese Green Tea Leaf Extract - to name just a few. Yes, ingredients that you KNOW are good for you. Need we say more?
  • Heal, Hydrate and Nourish Your Skin: This cream helps in reducing the appearance of existing scars and marks by increasing the moisture content of the skin, so that it has a more even tone and feels smooth and supple to the touch. It also ensures that the moisture seeps deep into your skin and stays locked in. This improves your skin's elasticity, which in turn helps to prevent new tears and marks from forming. In a nutshell, it works great for prevention as well as reduction!
  • No Harsh Chemicals + Made in USA + Cruelty Free: The formula does not contain any harsh chemicals such as Parabens, Sulphates or Phthalates. The cream is made in the USA in an FDA registered and GMP compliant facility. It is not tested on animals.
  • Manufacturer Guarantee: You simply cannot go wrong since Body Merry offers a 90 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all its products. If you do not like this cream, just contact us and get a full refund. No need to return the bottle.
  • Results For All: This creamy moisture rich product helps to prevent and diminish the appearance of old and new stretch marks and scars, whatever be the cause! Moms can tackle stretch marks head on by using this cream during and after pregnancy. While stretch marks are most commonly associated with pregnancy, almost all of us (whether its men or women) invariably have some 'problem areas'. This cream is designed for use by both men and women who are looking for a highly effective solution to fight those pesky marks and scars.

USES AND IMPRESSIONS : My biggest complaint with this product is not one with the product as with myself...the directions say use TWICE daily. I was lucky if I remembered to use it twice WEEKLY! I can't be the only one that has trouble with remembering multiple applications, can I?!
That being said, I've been using this on my two-year-old surgery scars--the scars themselves look a bit lighter but more importantly feel better. It's been so long since the surgery but still sometimes they will be sore after a particularly long day, you know, just ache. This cream definitely helps on those days.
Another plus? I love the nutty smell of this cream. Smells like the purest cocoa butter you can find!

If you would like to try this product for yourself, you can find it on Amazon HERE for the price of $24.99 for a full-size, 3.3 oz tube--if you're using it for scars like I did, in most cases, one tub will last you FOREVER!

Until next time,
<3

Hi there, my darlings! This afternoon, I have a very special collection that I would like to share with you! Now, as many of you know I love Laura of ellagee and her polishes and I'm always excited to swatch her collection! These arrived to me quite awhile ago, way before the official release day and  boy! Has it been hard keeping these beauties to myself! But the wait is over and I can finally share my swatches of ellagee's The Artist collection, releasing tomorrow, 2/26/2015 with all of you

First, Daddy Pop is a silvery white polish with gold shimmer and a touch of holo. This polish is semi-sheer but goes on smooth as butter--the swatches below show 3 thin coats topped with 1 thin coat of ellagee's Fast Dry Top Coat to finish the look. Isn't this such a pretty white?!

With flash!

His Royal Badness is a eggplant purple jelly with tons of gold flakies. Being a jelly, this polish is semi-sheer but can be built to the opacity you prefer--the swatches below show 3 thin coats topped with 1 thin coat of ellagee's Fast Dry Top Coat to finish the look. SO gorgeous!

The Polish Formerly Known As Prince is one of my favorites--a stunning purple full-coverage microglitter. You can layer this polish over your favorite creme but I love how amazing layering coats of microglitters look so this is 4 thin coats  1 thin coat of ellagee's Fast Dry Top Coat to finish the look. Love this so much!

With flash!

Punch A Higher Floor is a clear base packed with gold shimmer and just a touch of gold flakies and gold holo. This beauty can be worn as a topper over a dark creme, like I did, or layered by itself. The swatches below show 2 thin coats over Salon Perfect Oil Slick topped with 1 thin coat of ellagee's Fast Dry Top Coat to finish the look. So stunning, right?!

 With flash!

Last but definitely not the least, another personal favorite, The Purple One is a rich, vibrant linear holographic polish with just a touch of gold shimmer. The formula of this polish was an absolute dream and the swatches below show 2 thin coats topped with 1 thin coat of ellagee's Fast Dry Top Coat to finish the look. The little bit of gold shimmer just elevates this one to the next level!

With flash!
