Bold Lips in Just One Swipe with L’ORÉAL Infallible Pro Matte Glosses!

Hi there, my darlings! When I think of L’Oréal, I think...global beauty. Whenever I go home to India, it can be a challenge to find the makeup I'm used to, whether it be drugstore or high-end. But I can always find some of my tried and tested L’Oréal products and I can't even begin to tell you how comforting that is. So, I can say, in all honesty, L’Oréal is, hands down, one of my favorite drugstore brands--I swear by their mascaras! Recently, I've had the honor of connecting with L’Oréal and I'll be sharing lots of gorgeous goodies from the brand over the next couple of weeks. To start us off today--let's talk about the Infallible Pro Matte Glosses!

What They Are :

A Pro-Matte Revolution: Introducing Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss, our 1st whipped matte gloss. Intense high pigment shades create lasting matte color. Lush velvety texture feels soft for all day comfort. With the pro-sculpt applicator, shape and add dimension to lips.

Available in 10 gorgeous shades, I have five of them to share with you all today :

• REBEL ROSE(304)  

• SHANGHAI SCARLET(308)  

• FORBIDDEN KISS(310)

• ROUGE ENVY(312)

I love a bold lip and these are super pigmented shades! Here's a close-up of all five on the back of my hand :

IMPRESSIONS : In one word...WOW! As I mentioned, these are super pigmented but apply so easily--with the angled, plush applicator, there's no bleeding, no mess. I get full, easy coverage with just a couple of swipes.

Now, I gotta admit, I was a little confused by the contradictory matte gloss terminology...until I swatched them! They have the pigmentation and opacity of a great matte lipstick but with the beautiful shine of a gloss. Even, full coverage in just a couple of swipes without that dry, taut feeling of a super matte. Last time I wore one, my lips felt hydrated yet the color did not budge for hours, even through eating, drinking and generally not being at all careful. Hey, I was testing it around the house, okay! =)

As for removal, I was afraid that they would be really hard to get off but nope! They come off pretty easily with a regular makeup remover or even a baby wipe. All in all, I cannot think of one negative with these beauties!

Now, I have to pick a favorite, right? Well, I'll tell you right now, that's pretty impossible since I can see myself reaching for any one of these five. But if I absolutely HAD to pick, I really adore Forbidden Kiss and Rouge Envy
