SALLY HANSEN Digital Overload and Glam Rock (partial collections) : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Recently, a set of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel samples arrived to me and man! I have to say these are some of the prettiest polishes, I have seen from Sally! My experience with the formula of Sally's Miracle Gels have been hugely favorable in the past so I was really excited to try these new shades...and I wasn't disappointed, to say the least! Let's take a look!

The Digital Overload collection is plugged in and always on! The range adds seven new wildly addictive and electrifying shades that are social media share-worthy :

Electric Pop is a bright coral pink creme. Although a little streaky on the first coat, it leveled out quite nicely by the third coat and the pigmentation is fabulous! The swatches below show 3 thin coats by itself. I LOVE this shade of pink--so flattering!

Byte Blue is a bright cobalt blue creme. This Miracle Gel formula was absolutely divine and applied almost like a crelly plus the drying time was super quick--the swatches below show 2 thin coats by itself. It's so hard to find a blue this bright that doesn't stain but this is a winner on all counts! No staining whatsoever!

Let's Get Digital is an iridescent robin’s egg blue with pink shimmer. You can definitely layer this on for full opacity but it is very sheer. I chose swatch just 1 thin coat, except the ring finger which is two coats, over Byte Blue, topped with Sally Hansen's Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment. This just may be my favorite SHs EVER--just LOOK at that shimmer!

ONE coat :

TWO coats :

Digi-Teal is a bright sky blue. Fantastic formula and application--light blues like this can be tricky but this one applied like a breeze. The swatches below show 2 thin coats by itself. IIt's described as a teal shade by SH but it leans a true, bright sky blue on me and I love it!

Glam Rock is the intersection of pretty and punk blending the deep hues of yesteryear with the spirit of rock and roll. This collection also features seven new shades:

Motley Hue is a berry creme. This Miracle Gel formula was absolutely divine and applied almost like a crelly plus the drying time was super quick--the swatches below show 2 thin coats by itself. What a beautiful shade!

Rock On is a silver metallic accented with teeny tiny black glitters. Metallics can be notoriously tricky but I had absolutely no trouble with this one--the swatches below show 2 thin coats, topped with Sally Hansen's Comple Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment. This wasn't my favorite of the bunch but the application made it worthwhile!

So there you have it, my darlings! You can find these and other Miracle Gel polishes at your local CVSRiteAidWalgreensWalmartKmart or Ulta (among other fine retailers) for the price of $9.99 (prices may vary in different states) . 1. These are some very lovely polishes. I've never tried any of the miracle gels from the SH.
