Hi there, my darlings! Today on this MUCH-needed lazy Saturday, after the excitement of my trip to DC last weekend and the super busy week at work, it's been all about some of my favorite things--sleep and yummy food! I'm finally well-rested and oh-so-comfy in my lounging attire--THIS is what bliss feels likes! And since we're on the topic of some of my favorite things, I'd love to show you a few more polishes from one of my favorite indie brands,  Liquid Sky Lacquer! Though it was quite a challenge, since she makes SO many amazing holos, this post showcases my favorites from the recent ginormous batch of goodies in my review package! Ready for some out-of-this-world holo goodness? =)

First, I have for you Pure Luxury--a light, buttery gold metallic polish with an extreme holographic finish. The application and formula on this was absolutely flawless and I used 2 generous coats by itself for the swatches below. Pure Luxury is so appropriately named because it reminds of nothing more than the finest silk and it's absolutely blinding under the light!

Next, I have for you Shanel's Cyan--a gorgeous cyan blue polish with a linear holographic finish.  Again, fantastic formula and application--creamy and goes on buttery-smooth. I used 2 generous coats by itself for the swatches below. This polish was created for the blogger Shanel of Tattooed Nail Girl and oh my, it such a stunning shade of blue!

The third on my favorites list is Rock My World--a lavender purple polish with a linear holographic finish. No issues at all with formula or application and I used 3 coats by itself for the swatches below. Oh man! I absolutely ADORE this shade of purple! SO gorgeous!

Last but definitely not the least, I have for you my hands-down absolute favorite from this bunch, Swerve--a stunning bright blue metallic polish with an extreme holographic finish. Again, I was super impressed with both the fabulous application and the super-quick dry time on this polish--there was no streaking, it applied flawlessly and, like so many of Carolyn's polishes, dried within minutes! I used 3 coats by itself for the swatches below. When I showed a sneak peek of this beauty on my Facebook page recently, one of my followers described this best as a polish that was named to remind you NOT to look at it while driving! Because it's just THAT mesmerizing!

Hi, my darlings! Thank GOD it's Friday! I'm SO ready for the weekend, I can't even put it into words! But, before I begin my weekend and basically sleep for 18 hours, I wanted to show you the second part of my  Liquid Sky Lacquer swatch-a-thon! With today's post, I'm going to show you four more gorgeous holographic beauties! =)

First, I have for you Head To The Bahamas--a creamy nude/neutral linear holographic polish. The application and formula on this was fabulous and I used 2 generous coats by itself for the swatches below. I love that this nude doesn't give me the dreaded "mannequin" hands!

Next up, I have for you Can't Be Tamed--a super bright lime green linear holographic with bright yellow undertones and a metallic finish. Again, I was super impressed with both the application and the dry time on this polish--there was no streaking, it applied flawlessly and, like so many of Carolyn's polishes, dried super quickly! I used 3 coats by itself for the swatches below. For those of you who love funky colors, this one is right on the money!

The third polish I have for you today is Dew Drops--a stunning grass green jelly linear holographic polish. The formula on this, being a jelly, is on the thinner side and required 3 generous coats to reach full opacity. But again the dry time was super fast and the level of holo goodness was totally worth it! Love green? Then this is one for you!

Last but definitely not the least, I have for you...and Syrup--a caramel linear holographic polish with added gold shimmer. Again, fantastic formula and application and I used 3 coats by itself for the swatches below. I love how this looks on my complexion!

Hi there, my darlings! Tonight, I have reviewed a collection which I absolutely LOVED in its entirety from a brand which has rapidly become one of my top 3 fave indie brands--that collection is the Love Actually collection from Smitten Polish. As a blogger, I'm often sent full collections for review and usually I love several of the polishes in a collection but some may just not work for me, either not really my taste or doesn't quite work as well with my complexion. Not so with this collection! I'm thrilled to tell you that I love each and every one of these polishes! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

This entire collection was inspired by Noelie's love of the movie "Love Actually" and each polish is named for a line in the movie! And boy, she must REALLY love this movie cos this is a KNOCKOUT collection! Take a peek for yourself! I bet you'll be as "smitten" as I am!

First, I have for you To Me You Are Perfect--a bright purple jelly packed with small mutichrome shimmer that shifts from a bright turquoise blue to a purpley-pink.  Both the application and formula on this was perfect (just the right consistency--not too thick, not too runny) and I used 3 generous coats for the swatches below, topped with 1 generous coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. Look how stunning that color shifting glitter is! WOW!

Next, I have for you A Wedding Dress That Isn't Bright Turquoise--a beautiful turquoise jelly polish with an intense shimmer that shifts from copper to green! This polish, being a jelly, is on the sheer side and needed the 3 generous coats, topped with 1 generous coat of G&G's HK Girl,  shown below to reach opacity--any visible nail line you see is under the intense lighting of my lightbox. Under natural lighting, 3 coats brings almost full opacity but this is an ideal polish for layer over your favorite blue creme too. I love the brightness and shimmer in this polish! Makes me want to paint this on my toes and run off to a Caribbean island!

Another jelly in this collection is You Saucy Minx--a bright blurple (bluish-purple) jelly with an intense shimmer that shifts from copper to green! This polish, also being a jelly, is on the sheer side and I used 3 generous coats to reach opacity. This too would be fabulous layered over a purple, dark blue or black creme! If you don't own the elusive Max Factor Fantasy Fire, this, my darlings, is a truly awesome alternative!

Next, I have for you Just in Cases--a rich chocolate linear holo! I found both the application and formula of this polish to be a fantastic and the swatches below show 3 smooth coats by itself. So yummy, right?

With flash!

The fourth polish in this collection is The First Lobster--a lovely reddish-orange linear holo! Again, great formula and application and the swatches below show 3 smooth coats by itself. Such an inviting shade of red, even for someone like me who isn't the biggest fan of oranges!

With flash!!

Last but definitely not the least, I have for you my absolute favorite of this collection,Love Is Actually All Around--a breath-takingly gorgeous dark red, extremely linear holographic polish! Again, fantastic formula and application and the swatches below show 3 smooth coats by itself, though I daresay you could have easily gotten away with two. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I adore this polish--this one started out as a swatch and ended up as a full, double-handed manicure! SO IN LOVE!

With flash!

Finally, to round out this post, I wanted to show all you out there a comparison of the various gorgeous shades of red Noelie has banged out recently--we both seem to love our reds and these pictures will show you that each and every one of them is an unique and utterly lovable shade of its own! From left to right, 3 coats each of I Never Drink...Wine, Love Is Actually All Around, The First Lobster and Zelda's Fall-y on the index, middle, ring and pinkie fingers respectively.

So there you have it, my darlings! If you need to add any of these beauties to your collection, you can find them HERE for the price of $11.00 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle. You can also follow Smitten Polish's Facebook page for the latest information on restocks!
