Hi!! Guess what time it is? It's time to show you guys some new swatches! YAY!!

Today, I have up for you seven beauties from Aly's Dream Polish's new collection--Ballad of Serenity! The collection features a mixture of glitter topcoats, holos with glitter, one gorgeous holo and a lovely shimmer!

So, let's look at some pictures, shall we? =)

Bottle shots of the entire collection!

(The description of each polish appears just above the pictures)

INEVITABLE BETRAYAL--A neon green jelly with a combination of black and white bars, and hex glitters in black, white, teal and green! This is a super bright polish and application was super smooth! Swatches below show three coats over Essie Ridge-Filling Basecoat.

COMPANION--A semi-matte purple with rich pink-red duochrome and some sparse microglitter. I REALLY loved this one! This is super pretty and the application was totally flawless! This polish all but glows!

With flash!

INVITE DIAMOND--a GORGEOUS holographic glitter topper, this contains 5 different sizes of holo glitter and holo microglitter. The swatches show two coats over COMPANION. I used 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl to smooth it all out! This is insanely sparkly under ANY light!

Here it is intentionally blurred to show the crazy sparkle!

THE 'VERSE--a beautiful charcoal holographic polish with black and silver holographic glitter. This went on so smoothly and I didn't have to fish a single glitter out of the bottle! Just lovely!

With flash!

CAPTAIN TIGHTPANTS--This is such a fun name, right? I so LOL-ed at this! This polish is another glitter topper, made of small black and pink holographic glitters! I layered 2 coats on all fingers, except the ring which is 3 coats, over Wet and Wild white.

And then! I decided to matte it! I added one coat of Butter London Matte Topcoat and here's the result!

REAVERS--A dark pinkish-red holographic polish, chock-full of black shreds! It's so much fun to try to catch the rainbow of the holo amongst the shreds. Aly seems to be an expert with holos so the application was a dream!

With flash!

BROWNCOATS--Last but not least, my FAVORITE of this collection! Being an ardent lover of all things holographic, it didn't come as a surprise when I fell totally in love with this warm, light brown holographic polish. I had absolutely NO issues with formula or application and this color just looked so flattering with my complexion!

For the last post for the night (yeah, I know, phew but so much FUN!), I have for you a brand that's very new to me! When a very good girlfriend messaged me about Treasures by Tan and showed me a pic of her new holos, I knew I HAD to have at least one! After agonizing for a good half-hour, I decided on Kinky, a bright, fuschia jelly holo!

Now I LOVE jellies and I ADORE holos, so when I read the description that Kinky was a jelly holo and that too in such a beautiful, wearable color, I knew it had to be mine!

Now, keep in mind that Kinky is undoubtedly a jelly so the formula is quite thin. However, this being said, it makes for a fabulous layering polish and my initial nail wheel swatches over bright cremes were very successful. You can also just keep adding subsequent coats until you get the depth and opacity you desire. And the holographic pay-off is blinding! Simply phenomenal! I used 5 thin coats of Kinky to achieve the look in the photos below and I didn't have too much of a wait for each coat to dry (approximately 1-2 mins per coat to dry completely). I also used one thin coat of G&G's HK girl to help the final coat dry faster!

Without further delay, onto the pics!

And finally, a close-up of the holo!

Isn't that holo to DIE FOR? If you would like to make this polish yours, you can find it HERE for $9.50 plus the cost of shipping for a full-size 15 mL bottle! Don't forget to tell her I sent you! =) And while you're there, why not check out some of her other holos and jellies? They all look gorgeous!

What did you think of Kinky's jelly holo finish? Tell me in the comments below!

Hi everyone! Don't you just love the out-of-the-blue barrage of blog posts? LOL =p I had these pics up on my Facebook page for awhile but I haven't had a chance to put up the blog post review until today! What can I say? Life gets so hectic at times. Le sigh.

Anyways, here's a beauty from a store I had favorited months ago on Etsy but never got around to purchasing...until recently! And boy, am I glad I took the plunge! After much deliberation, I decided to review Smoldering Temptress because I do love a good red and a holographic red is just extra icing on the cake!

Smoldering Temptress is a sunset red holographic polish, which leaned a bit orange on me and my Indian complexion. Now as a girl who just DOES NOT DO orange, I was still very impressed with how this polish looked on me!

The application was really smooth, such that I didn't observe any dragging or streaking, and the drying time was fairly quick. The best part was that there was NO staining upon removal! I used 2 generous coats for the swatches below.

If this beautiful polish appeals to you, you can find it HERE for $10 plus the cost of shipping for a full-sized 15 mL bottle! And while you're there, why not check out some of her other holos? I know You're Sapphired is definitely on MY wishlist! =)

OK, my beloved followers! The next in the holo line-up from Amy's Nail Boutique is MY PERSONAL ALL-TIME FAVORITE from her--Purple Prism, a stunning, mega-holo dark purple that EASILY compares to Glitter Gal Dark Purple, Ozotic 513 or Enchanted Awesomeness (yes, I have all 3 and would be happy to do a comparison post if you all would like to see!). This polish is just...dreamy! I have no other words. This one, as the pics will hopefully show you, has truly rendered me speechless.

Formula and application both were completely easy and I used 2 generous coats for the photos below. No streaking, no dragging, no long drying periods between coats and the result? Just phenomenal!

I'll let the pictures do all the talking for this one!

Ah! Spring! When the temperatures start to rise but it's not too hot nor too hot. The sun's out and shining and the world is just about ready to burst into color! And this next polish I'm about to show you is, in my opinion, PERFECT for Spring! I present to you Amy's Nail Boutique's Hologlam--a super bright, girly, bubblegum pink holo!

Hologlam is such a bright, fun color and as with all the Amy's polishes I've tried so far, a breeze to apply. The formula on this IS on the thin side so this polish is perfect for layering over a rich creme or simply add coats to achieve your desired level of opacity! For the mani below, I used 4 thin coats of Hologlam, topped with one thin coat of G&G's HK girl! Since drying time was minimal (less than a minute and a half per coat), the result was a sensational, feminine, moderately holographic polish that totally brightened up my day!

So without further ado, onto the beautiful photos of Hologlam!

First up! The bottle shots! Note the pretty little flower charm--these charms are a unique, personal touch that Amy puts on all her bottles!

And on the nail! Automatic setting!

And finally, a close-up!

Such a pretty, exuberant color! What do you think? Tell me in the comments below!

If you need to add this to your stash, you can find it HERE in the full 15 mL size for $10 plus the cost of shipping!

Do you need G&G's HK Girl? I say you do! Find it HERE for the best $6.95 you'll ever spend!
