Hi there, my darlings! It is a beautiful, warm, sunshiny day in Toronto and I cannot be more thrilled! Yes, the weather is definitely part of it but today is a day of another reunion for ColorSutraa, namely with a beloved brand! I have loved Cupcake Polish so much that I was loath to part with a single polish when I had to move back to India--yes, I pretty much shipped ALL of them! And there they remain, safely ensconced in my family's rambling ancestral home in Calcutta. Alas! But, thank GOD for Sara and her penchant for new holos! Now that I'm officially back in the Western World, it's time to stock back up on my Cupcake stash...and help add to your wishlists too!

Today, I will be sharing my swatches and review of the soon-to-be-launched Essential Oils collection, 6 mega linear holos inspired by some of Sara's favorite essential oils. Before we get to swatches, let's take a minute to talk about the formula and application of these six holographic polishes. Across the board, as with just about every Cupcake in my stash, each applied smoothly and was perfectly opaque in just 2 easy coats. It's so good to know that some things just don't change! Unless specifically mentioned, the swatches below show 2 easy coats of each polish--that is all! These are some gorgeous polishes and there's something for everyone!

Sandalwood is described as a "nude super linear holographic nail polish". I usually prefer bold colors to nudes but a nude with this much holo?! Yes please!

With flash!

Lemongrass is described as a "chartreuse super linear holographic nail polish". 3 thin coats for this one, this is such a bright, fun, refreshing green! Much like its inspiration!

With flash!

Cinnamon is described as a "mauve red super linear holographic nail polish". Absolutely adore this shade! So up my alley!

With flash!

Lavender is described as a "silvery lavender super linear holographic nail polish". Isn't this THE perfect lavender shade?!

With flash!

Frankincense is described as a "chestnut brown super linear holographic nail polish". So much depth to this shade!

With flash!

Eucalyptus is described as a "mint green super linear holographic nail polish". My personal fave, this one is a chameleon! It wears more blue in some lights and more green in others. It's super gorgeous though in ANY light!

Hi there, my darlings! It's a BEAUIFUL day in Toronto! The sun is shining, it's warm enough not to even need a jacket and the air smells fresh! Spring seems to have FINALLY arrived AND it's the last couple of days left to take advantage of Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment's Earth Day promotion! So, what better time than right now to share my swatches of the gorgeous Thrive collection for Spring 2018!

The Thrive collection consists of 3 cremes, 2 shimmers and a beautiful topper, all in perfect Spring shades.  Across the board, I found the formula to be such a pleasure to work with--except for one, which I'll mention below, all applied beautifully! Unless specifically mentioned, all the swatches below show just 2 easy coats of each polish by itself on the index and ring fingers and 2 coats plus 1 thin coat of topcoat on the middle and pinkie fingers, for the sake of comparison.

Brandi is described as "a blush pink cream". Have you seen a more perfect Spring pink?!

Trudith is described as "a muted, wisteria purple creme". Such a lovely shade of purple!

Monroe is described as "a glamour pink cream". My fave of this collection, I can't tell you how many manis I have done for friends with this color! They ALL seem to love it!

Darby is described as "a dusty, gull gray metallic". If you've ever wanted to catch a rain-filled cloud in a bottle, this one should come close to fulfilling that wish!

Haruko is described as "a soft, violet metallic". I found this one a bit of the streakier side and I needed 3 thin coats to achieve the finish I like. Nevertheless, a pretty shade!

Leisel is described as "a sheer, sparkling topper". Meant to be a topper, I layered on 4 generous coats to see how it would look...and I LOVE the outcome! So pretty, so sparkly, so darn magical!
