Hi my darlings!!! Aren't you glad it's Saturday? I know I sure am! Just slept for obscene amounts of time and I feel so much better! So, today I have the last of the reviews from my most recent review package from the wonderful Sisi of Color4nails--two gorgeous polishes from Brazilian indie maker Esmaltes da Kelly!

Before we get started on swatches, I'd just like to mention how cute the bottles are! They're a shape I've never seen before--flatter on the sides and approaching a rectangular shape. Kelly also puts pretty black bows on each and every one of her bottles. I'm such a goner when it comes to cute packaging--it's that one thing that elevates a product for me!

First up, I have for you Orange Sunset--a vibrant orange jelly packed with black, gold and orange glitter in various sizes from small to medium and just a touch of holographic hexes thrown in. The application and formula was great but since jellies tend to be sheer, I used 4 coats for the swatches below, topped with 1 thick coat of G&G's HK Girl. I think this polish would also be great for layering over your favorite orange creme or even a black!

Second of the two is my favorite, Camila--a super sparkly purple base filled with pink, purple and blue holographic microglitter! I had no complaints with the application and I used 2 coats for the swatches below, topped with 1 thick coat of G&G's HK Girl. This sparkled and shined in the light so beautifully!

So there you have it, my darlings! Check out these or any of a number of other gorgeous Esmaltes da Kelly  polihses on Color4nails' website HERE--each of them can be purchased for the price of $8.00 for an 8 mL bottle.

Tell me you favorite--I always love to hear from you in the comments section below!

Until next time,

Hiya!! As promised, here's the second part of my Liquid Sky Lacquer swatch-a-thon--this time I have for you reviews and swatches of the entire, recently released Fall Collection! And yes, they are ALL holos! =D

Let's not waste another minute! =)

First, I have for you Pumpkin Pie--a light pumpkin orange linear holographic with gold undertones. The formula and dry time was fantastic and I used 2 coats for the swatches below. I must say, when I looked at this in the bottle, I was really confused as to why Carolyn named it as she did but once on my nails, it all made perfect sense--this is exactly like a slice of warm pumpkin pie swirled with a dollop of whipped cream! Delicious!

Next, I have for you one of my two favorites of this collection, A Nice Chianti--a lush, wine-purple with a strong linear holographic effect. This polish was a little more sheer than Carolyn's other polishes and I used 3 generous coats, topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl. Dulling of the holo? I don't think so! And this was blinding in the sunlight! I got so many compliments at work!

The third beauty in this collection is Autumn Thyme--a minty medium green linear holographic polish. I used 2 coats for the swatches below and once again, the formula was fabulous! This is an absolutely must-have for those of you who crush on greens!

Next, we come to the second of my favorites, Mulled Wine--a rich, wine-red polish with a strong linear holographic effect. This, like A Nice Chianti,  was a little on the sheerer side and I used 3 generous coats, topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl. So gorgeous! I'm absolutely in LOVE with this shade!

Last but not least, we have Spice Cake--a warm caramel linear holographic polish, that's just PERFECT for Fall! This, too, was on the sheerer side and  I used 3 generous coats, topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl. This shade is SO yummy!

Hi there, my darlings! I hope you're still with me this lovely Friday afternoon--so close to the weekend and freedom!! =D And in celebration, I'm going to have two posts in quick succession for your viewing pleasure and both will be reviews of one of my absolute FAVORITE brands for holos--Liquid Sky Lacquer. Now if you follow me on Facebook, you've seen previews of gorgeous holos Carolyn sent me for review and this first post will be devoted to the as-yet-unreleased polishes!

Before we start, I'd like to mention that the formula for all FOUR polishes reviewed here was fantastic--no streaking, clumping or dragging! I used 2 generous coats for all the swatches below. Also, as I'd mentioned in my previous reviews of Liquid Sky Lacquer, the dry time is super fast--it takes barely a min before each coat is dry and that is so important for a busy, busy bee like me! So with that said, let's jump right in to the swatches, shall we? =)

First up, I have for you Bippity Boppity Boo--a gorgeous baby/light blue with a light linear holographic effect. Isn't this the absolutely perfect Cinderella-blue? Totally reminiscent of her ballgown?

Next, I have Looking for Prince Charming--a lovely baby pink with a light linear holographic effect. Isn't this such a soft, feminine shade? Perfect for those days when you want to indulge your girly-girl side!

With flash!

Next, I have for you Black Opal--a stunning charcoal gray with a super strong linear holographic effect! Missed out on OPI My Private Jet, like I did? Well, I do believe this may assuage your heart! SO gorgeous!

Last but definitely not the least, we come to MY personal favorite of the four Bad Ass Nails--a completely amazing mega linear holographic in such an unique shade of blue! I have to say when I looked at this in the bottle, I thought it was an inky black but when I brushed on that first coat....WOW! Definitely blue and this exact shade is SO hard to describe! So, so, so in love!

So there you have it, darlings! The unreleased portion of my review package from Liquid Sky Lacquer! But fear not, all these polishes, except for Black Opal which will be released at a later date, will be released this Saturday, September 28th--follow her on Facebook HERE to keep updated with the latest on the exact time. On Saturday, you can find them HERE for a price of $12.50 for a full-sized, 0.5 oz bottle!
