Hi there, my darlings! In today's review, I'd like to show you a new facial cream that I've been testing out for the past few weeks--Vouray Night Skin Repair cream by Bioque. Now, I'm not a huge fan of putting too many products on my face and I usually stick to what works for me--Oil of Olay for Sensitive Skin. My face is incredibly sensitive and prone to alarming bouts of acne, so I keep my skincare routine simple and use products I'm used to--a good cleanser and moisturizer. However, when I come across a product that sounds like something that my skin would thank me for, I'm up for reviewing it--not only for myself but for all of you out there who may face similar skincare challenges! And this products, I must admit, I chose to review for just one primary reason--I'm a huge believer in that sleep is the best cure-all for a host of symptoms and it is at night that the skin, as much of the other body, replenishes and rejuvenates itself. So, a product that claims to help the skin a little all while I sleep? I was totally game!
Before I tell you about my experience with this product, let's take a quick peek at the product description and the brand's claims :
VOURAY NIGHT SKIN REPAIR
Get the most out of your Beauty Sleep!
It's called 'beauty sleep' for a reason: your nightly snooze is when your skin tries to undo all of the cellular damage and stress it was exposed to during the day. Our luxurious Night Cream supports this process to help you look your very best in the morning!
Did you know? Extensive studies have demonstrated that sleep in total darkness provides an ideal situation for the uninterrupted release of Melatonin, which is both a hormone and a potent antioxidant produced by the body. Melatonin stimulates cellular repair and makes it possible for you to get your beauty sleep on a daily basis to minimize signs of aging!
Benefits :
•Hydration and nutrients combine to support the skin's natural repair process during sleep in darkness
•Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
•Restores the appearance of natural plumpness and stability of the skin
•Minimizes the look of pores and enhances skin's hydration
•Paraben-free for the ultimate in skincare safety

USE : I've been using this product, just a quarter-sized amount, on my face and neck a couple of times a week, for about 3 weeks. I've applied the product while sitting in bed, just before going to bed, and massaging it into my skin using the recommended gentle, circular motions with my fingertips. Then, in the morning, I just washed my face with a little cold water.
IMPRESSIONS : Despite what it looks like in the photo below, this cream is very thick, luxuriant and moisturizing. In fact, it's a little bit too much of a good thing on balmy Spring nights. I get hot way too easily, especially while I sleep so this product left me feeling a little uncomfortable. Personally, I would use this cream on colder nights in the winter when the skin needs a little extra moisture and relief from harsh temperatures. However, that being said, this cream is FABULOUS for your hands--I also worked in a little bit into my hands after I had applied it to my face and I woke up with baby-soft hands! Even my cuticles looked very well-hydrated! All in all, a great product for whenever you feel your skin could use a little extra assistance!
So there you have it, my darlings! If you would like to pick up your very own PureSOL Konjac sponge, you can find it on Bioque's website HERE for the price of $45.00 for a full-size, 1.75 oz tub.
Are you looking for some extra moisture for your skin? Is this product something you would like to try? I'd love to hear your opinions in the comments section below!
Until next time,
