THE HEALING TREE Bamboo Charcoal Soap : Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Hi there, my darlings! I know it's quite late but I wanted to review this product for you...and have a little flash giveaway to let one of you lucky readers to win one for yourselves! Tonight, I want to show you The Healing Tree's Bamboo Charcoal Soap. The last time I used a skin care product that contained charcoal in it was the nifty little sponge made of charcoal fibers and I was so pleasantly surprised with how well it worked! Well, let me tell you this is no different!

Let's take a quick look at the product as described by the brand :

Bamboo Charcoal Soap is 4x more porous than wood charcoal, so it's high in absorbency and is able to draw dirt from deep inside your pores. Unlike normal soaps that only clean the surface of your skin, this soap can free up a lot of dirt that clogs problematic skin if you have acne, eczema, psoriasis, or dry/cracked skin. Bamboo charcoal is made by undergoing a firing process of 1,800 F to create a powder known as "Black Diamond" with high absorbency properties that will cleanse your skin by removing years of accumulated dead skin cells.

With your pores re-opened, your skin will begin to breathe again and naturally moisturize itself. There's no residue like other soaps, contains only four simple ingredients, and has a rich lather. So if you want to feel what it's like to let your skin breathe again, give this soap a try!

Bamboo Charcoal Soap Benefits:
Remove Dead Skin Cells
Unclogs Pores
Smoother Skin
Natural Ingredients
Fragrance Free
No Harmful Chemicals
No Added Colors
No Animal Testing

Ingredients: Vegetable Oil, Water, Glycerin, and Bamboo Charcoal.

USES : I used this product in the shower, instead of my regular moisturizing body wash, a couple of times a week for the past couple of weeks. Just normal lathering, applying all over and rinsing off.

IMPRESSIONS : I found this soap to leave my skin feeling softer, more moisturized and more refreshed than my regular body wash. Particularly problem areas such as my elbows and the soles of my feet felt less dry after using this soap. Will this soap completely replace my other body care products? Probably not since I have a penchant for floral body washes but it will definitely become a part of a weekly regime, particularly on those days when I've spent a good deal running around the pollution of NYC!

If you would like to pick up a bar or two to try for yourself, you can find it on the company's website HERE OR on Amazon HERE for the price of $150.00--yes, it is pricey but well worth the price!
