You Polish--Pink Again and Liberty

Hello my darlings!! Be prepared for a spate of blog posts as I rush to catch up on reviews that have fallen by the wayside in my enthusiasm in posting swatch pics on my Facebook page! What can I say? I'm a VISUAL being! LOL!

But fear not, I shall fulfill my responsibilities and bring my readers not only fabulous pictures but also reliable information on application and availability!

I would like to present to you 2 absolutely gorgeous jelly glitter polishes from Lauren of You Polish. Now, Lauren and I have been friends for awhile and she knows my taste rather well so it should have come as no surprise that she would pick polishes for me to review that I absolutely adore! But I do admit to squealing a little in delight when I opened this package--they're both so BRIGHT and SQUISHY! Lol!

First up, I would like to show you Pink Again, a bright NEON fuschia pink jelly with a multitude of hot pink glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes, including hexes, stars and squares. This polish is an instant jelly sandwich and the thing I love best about it is that the glitters, being so close to the color of the base, gives a subtle, peek-a-boo effect to the polish--this polish is all about the vibrant color rather than very obvious glitter! Now since I'm on a pink kick for summer, this is so beloved to me! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this polish! For the swatches below, I used 3 coats on its own, topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl, and I had absolutely no complaints about the application--it went on smoothly and I didn't spend any time fishing for glitters.

With flash!

Next up, I have Liberty, a dark, rich blue jelly with red, white, blue and silver squares, hexes and stars in a range of sizes. This polish was made to celebrate July 4th, 2013 but I also feel like this is one of those Independence Day polishes that can truly be worn year-round--the color combination celebrates the United States proudly but it isn't so obvious that it screams ONLY INDEPENDENCE DAY. Once again, application was a dream and I used 3 coats on its own, followed but 1 thin coat of G&G HK Girl. My only issue with this were the large squares--they just would not come out of my mini bottle! But I do believe this problem would be alleviated with the full-size bottles--my advice, don't buy a mini of this one! Besides, it's so gorgeous, you definitely won't regret having a full-size in your stash!

So, that's it! Two gorgeous jellies from You Polish, both of which you can find HERE for the GREAT price of $7.75 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle!

As always, I would love to hear your questions, comments or feedback in the comments section below!

Til next time,
<3
