SHIMMER Polish : Part II--Jennifer, Liana, Elsa and Nichole

Hi!!! As promised here's the second part of my Shimmer polish review. I have four more Shimmer polishes to show you her and...they are all shades of blue!

In this second part of my Shimmer polish review, I decided to group together the blues to show you all that each of these are unique and there are NO dupes even in the same color family! These gorgeous glitters are an absolute dream to apply--just the right consistency, not too thick, not too runny and definitely not too overwhelming! Several coats can be layered and then topcoated to get a dense, glittery finish that's smooth to the touch. I, however, decided to layer these beauties over 2 coats of various solid colors, or "undies" as we call it in the nail polish world.  All the swatches shown below use just 1 thin coat of a Shimmer, except for the ring finger which has 2 thin coats, over 2 thin coats of the chosen "undie". I used 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl to smooth it all out and finish the look!

First up, Shimmer Jennifer, an ethereal mix of soft blue, gold and periwinkles glitters in various sizes in a clear base. I layered Jennifer over 2 coats of Essie Avenue Maintain and the results are just stunning!

Next, Shimmer Liana! A GORGEOUS mix of rich, deep blue, silver and black glitters! I layered it over 2 coats of Revlon Royal and I totally fell in love with the results--in my mind, this is like the starry sky on a clear night!

With flash!

The third blue in this group is Shimmer Nichole, a beautiful mix of red, silver and blue in a clear base! I layered it over 2 coats of Joe Fresh Cobalt for this bright, beautiful manicure!

Finally, to round off our quartet of blues, here's Shimmer Elsa, a fun mix of red, turquoise and gold glitter! For the oh-so-pretty swatches below, I layered it over 2 coats of Sinful Colors Sugar Rush!

So which of these stunning blues do you want to add to your collection? You can find these HERE FOR $12 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle!

Until next time,
<3
