Pretty and Polished : Thermal Color Changers

Ack! I was so excited to be working with Chels of Pretty and Polished that I promptly swatched, edited and uploaded the beautiful samples she sent me and just about forgot to publish the actual review! *facepalm* Chels, if you're reading this, blame it on my excitement over these beauties!

So, Chels sent me 5 polishes to review and I've split them into 2 posts--3 thermal color-changers (!!!!) and 2 from her core collection. This post I'll show you the thermal color-changers, which were so incredibly fun to swatch that I got a little carried away with pictures! I had absolutely no complaints with the application of any of these polishes--they all went on smoothly, with minimal fuss!

First, Vampire Strikes Back! This polish is a rich chocolate brown at normal body temperature and changes to a vibrant red in hot water! I used 2 coats and no topcoat for the swatches below. Sexy much? I think so!

Changing!

Next, Summer Sorbet from her summer collection--this polish is a lovely shade of salmon/peachy pink, packed with pretty small glitters in purple, sky blue and white, at normal body temperature and changes to a pretty pastel yellow in hot water! I used 2 coats by itself, no topcoat, for the swatches below.

Finally, I have Gray Skies, my favorite of the three! This a GORGEOUS shade of periwinkle blue, full of blue and silver glitters, at normal body temperature and changes to a pretty, silvery gray shade in hot water! I used 2 coats for the swatches below. I love this one so much! As you can see below, I played for awhile with this one! LOL!
