Hello, my darlings! I do hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing 4th of July weekend! I managed to get in lots of naps, a dinner with a few of my high school girlfriends from India and of course, swatched some beauties for all of you! Tonight, I'm reviewing three gorgeous polishes from Ruby White Tips's new Happy Hour Collection plus a bonus polish!
Laura of Ruby White Tips is such a warm, friendly person and if you have been following me on Facebook, you know how smitten I am with the handwritten note she included in my review package! Well, she brings that level of care and her own personal touch to each and every one of her polishes--each bottle is adorned with a pretty band around the brush! It's so very refreshing and so very touching to work with a maker who so obviously cares about her products and her customers!
Now, without further ado, on to the lovelies! The Happy Hour Collection is inspired by, you guessed it, a range of yummy cocktails and these polishes are bright, fun colors!
First up, I have Pink Sangria--a lovely, shimmery bright pink polish with flashes of purple throughout it. I had no complaints with the application with the jelly-like formula and since the polish goes on sheer, I used 3 coats for the swatches below.
With flash!
Bay Breeze, the second polish reviewed, is a gorgeous teal which flashes a yellow/green sheen under certain lights! Again, the application was smooth and easy and it had an almost chrome-like finish. I used 2 coats for the swatches below.

The third polish from the Happy Hour Collection I have for you is Mind Eraser--a deep, inky blue-black that really blew my mind! Now, I don't like super-dark polishes much (which is why I usually layer over blues rather than blacks) but Mind Eraser has such interesting depth and shine that it ended up surprisingly being my favorite of this trio! I applied 2 smooth coats for the swatches below.

I was so enamored by Mind Eraser that I decided to layer some polishes over it and the results were absolutely stunning! In the swatches below, from index to pinkie, I've shown 1 coat of Pink Sangria, Bay Breeze, OPI DS Shimmer and Lynnderella The Stars in her Eyes over 2 coats of Mind Eraser.
With flash!
So there you have it! Three beautiful polishes from Ruby White Tips' Happy Hour Collection...But wait! I have one more bonus polish for you!
Laura of Ruby White Tips is very passionate about the well-being of bats, which are rapidly becoming an endangered species due to loss of habitat. So periodically, Laura creates a polish, 50% of whose proceeds go to batworld.org. Mr. Kitty is one dedicated to this cause!
Mr. Kitty is a delicate brown-tinted pink shimmer and I used three smooth coats for the swatches below.
With flash!
So there you have it! If you would like to add any of these beauties or check out the other polishes from the Happy Hour Collection, you can find them HERE for $8.50 for a full-size, 0.50 oz bottle!
BUT WAIT! Laura is super sweet and has offered a special code for ColorSutraa's readers! Use code COLORSUTRAA for 20% off your entire purchase!
As always, I look forward to hearing from you in the comments section below!
Until next time,
