Windestine Carbon Copy

Well, hello there! Good to see you here! I hope the beginning of the week has been treating you kindly--I, for one, am ready for the weekend already! Lol! Since the weekend won't get here any faster, let's distract ourselves with pretty polishes, shall we? =)

Recently, the super sweet Kim of OverallBeauty sent me a couple of polishes to review for my blog and in this package, I discovered a brand that is totally new to me--Windestine! Now I've definitely heard of Windestine and have seen some gorgeous beauties floating around but just haven't gotten around to purchasing any yet. So needless to say, I was pretty excited to try it out!

The Windestine I've reviewed for you is Carbon Copy--a clear-based topper packed full of tiny black microglitter. I wanted to try something different with this glitter since it's quite unusual to find an all-black glitter topper so I decided to layer it over a holo! I layered 2 coats over 2 coats of Color Club Harp On It on the index and ring fingers and 1 coat over 2 coats of CC Harp On It on the middle and pinkie fingers. The application of the glitter was really smooth and each stroke seemed equally packed with glitter. The result, as shown below, is quite interesting--the holo still shows through but the glitter adds a different dimension to the look. What do you think?

With flash!

So what do you think of this layering combo? Like it? Need this glitter to try your own combination? You can find it HERE on OverallBeauty's site for $8 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle!

As always, your feedback makes me happy! Please feel free to leave it in the comments section below!
I promise I read every one of them!

Until next time,
<3
