FAERIES AND FOLKLORE For Your Wooing Pleasure collection for Spring 2016 + April 2016 Myth of the Month polish : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! It's still beautiful outside...dare I say it? Is Spring really...NO! Let's not jinx it! But in the spirit of the season, this afternoon, I'd like to share Faeries and Folklore's upcoming Spring collection! I also have the next installment of her Myth of the Month series! So, let's get going!

The For Your Wooing Pleasure consists of 4 sheer, frosty pastel polishes which can be worn over your favorite creme or layered for full opacity. I chose to layer them on for full coverage and despite being frosts, they applied surprisingly easily. My only advice is to wait til each coat dries completely before adding the next to avoid streaking but since dry time is fairly quick, that shouldn't be a huge issue! The swatches below show just 3 thin coats of each polish by itself, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat for to bring it all together. Alrighty then, let's get right to swatches!!

Charmingly Charismatic is described as "a pale yellow shimmer that appears to
have a green tint. It has green-shifting duo-chrome flakies and silver holographic micro-glitter."
Such a nice pale yellow for Spring!

Enchanting Entrancement is described as "a lavender leaning silver polish with fuchsia and copper duochrome flakies and silver holographic micro-glitter."  It definitely does have a lavender tinge! So intriguing!

Selectively Seductive is described as "a green shimmer with a really unique green shift
tint to it! It also has copper duochrome flakies and silver holographic microglitter.
" Although a bit sheerer than her sisters, I love this one the most! So complex, so shifty!

Valiantly Visionary is described as "a pink polish with blue shimmer. It also contains fuchsia, blue, and green duochrome flakies and silver holographic micro-glitter." Very delicate and pretty!

MYTH OF THE MONTH :

Dragon Scales is described as "a forest green shimmer that has iridescent green glitters and silver holographic microglitter."  Similar formula and application to the Spring polishes--the swatches below show 3 thin coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Isn't this very so perfectly named?!

So there you have it, my darlings! The For Your Wooing Pleasure collection will be launching Friday, March 25th on Faeries and Folklore's website HERE, along with April's MotM. Stay tuned to Molly's social media for an announcement on exact times!!

  1. I read frost and thought "nope!" But I really like the look of these, especially Charmingly Charismatic.
