THE HOLO HOOKUP April 2016 collaboration box for Autism Awareness : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! It's time for one of my rare and hence very special weekend posts--you know I don't come out of hibernation on the weekends unless it's something truly amazing! And today's post featuring the next installment of The Holo Hookup collaboration box featuring Jill of Glisten & Glow, Missi of Different Dimension and Sara of Cupcake Polish is both special and truly amazing! The all-holo box for April 2016 will have Bliss Polish as the special guest maker and is a special box created for Autism Awareness--the ladies behind The Holo Hookup are donating $4 from every box to the National Autism Association . Here's a little bit about Autism from the Autism Fact Sheet on the National Autism Awareness website :

• Autism impacts the normal development of the brain in the areas of social interaction, communication skills, and cognitive function. Individuals with autism typically have difficulties in verbal and non-verbal communication, social interactions, and leisure or play activities
• Autism now affects 1 in 68 children
• Autism greatly varies from person to person (no two people with autism are alike)

Jill, Missi, Sara and Yvette have come together this month for such a good cause and they've pulled out all the stops to create absolutely gorgeous polishes for it. You can really see their heart in each of their creations this month! 

Light Of My Life from Cupcake Polish is a "dark pink linear holo with blue shimmers." Perfect application and formula--the swatches below show 2 smooth coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I absolutely love the vibrancy and depth of this gorgeous pink!

I <3 Someone With Autism from Different Dimension is a "black linear holo with blue shimmers and flakies and navy blue holographic microglitters."  Smooth, easy formula and application--the swatches below show just 2 coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to bring it all together. This isn't just any old black holo--the added shimmer, flakies and microglitters make this one beautifully stand out from all the rest!

Accept, Understand, Love from Glisten & Glow is a "light grass green linear holo with blue shimmers, and blue and silver galaxy holographic microglitters."  Fantastic application and formula--the swatches below show 2 easy coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. The pops of microglitter sparkle make this green truly special!

Different, Not Less from Bliss Polish is a "blue linear holo with blue microflakes." Buttery smooth formula and application--the swatches below show 3 thin coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. This is my very first Bliss Polish and I'm very impressed--what a stunning shade of blue!
