ZOYA Petals collection for Spring 2016 : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! It's another beautiful day in NYC, although it's going to rain tonight! But you know what they say--April Showers bring May flowers. With that though firmly in mind, I'd like to share the gorgeous Petals collection from Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment--an absolutely stunning collection for Spring!

This collection consists of 6 shimmery polishes in beautiful Spring shades. Across the board, I found the formula and application to be fantastic--usually opaque in 2 coats or at the very most 3.  All the swatches show just 3 thin coats of each polish by itself, no topcoat. Alrighty, now let's get right to swatches first!

Aster is described as "a fresh periwinkle with flecks of fuchsia to create a dewy finish, mimicking the look of spring flowers in the morning". This pulls more purple than blue on me and I absolutely adore this shade!

Azalea is described as "a classic spring pink with a captivating white and fuchsia flash". Such a gorgeous shade of pink!Definitely one of my faves of this collection!

Laurel is described as "a warm pastel pink with the slightest hint of sheen to mimic a petal soft finish". I like that this is such a flattering pastel!

Leia is described as "a sheer, opalescent white with flecks of fuchsia, green and gold".  Shown here over Zoya Lidia, this beauty is so versatile! You could literally put this on any one of your favorite Zoyas and it would be beautiful!

Tulip is described as "a pure pastel salmon cream with the slightest hint of sheen to mimic a petal soft finish". Another super pretty pastel!

Zahara is described as "a brilliant shimmering coral made modern with an opalescent effect". A little sheerer than Aster or Azalea, this baby can be used as a topper too. Either way, it's just beautiful!

So there you have it, my darlings! The Zoya Petals collection is available now on Zoya's website HERE for the price of $10 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle or $60 for the set of 6.
