ZOYA Tickled collection for Summer 2014 : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! This afternoon, I'm super pleased and excited to bring to you my first official reviews as one of Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment's bloggers! YAY! And how lucky am I that my very first reviews will be of two collections that are full of BRIGHT colors--you all know how much I love bright colors! Zoya has introduced two collections of 6 polishes each for Summer 2014--Tickled and Bubbly collections. This post we'll take a look at the 6 bright beauties that make up the Tickled collection.

The Tickled collection for Summer 2014 consists of 6 bright, almost-neon creme shades that all but gleefully shout SUMMER! All six shades are easy 2-coaters, though you can get away with one coat for some of them, as mentioned below. Across the board, the formula of these cremes were great--opaque at 2 coats and they leveled out quite nicely as they dried. All the swatches below show 2 smooth coats by itself, unless mentioned otherwise. With all that said, let's take a look at swatches, shall we?

Kitridge is a bubblegum pink creme. This shade isn't my favorite for my complexion but I'm sure would be a crowd favorite for the summer!

Ling is a bright blue creme--Zoya's website describes it as a bright royal blue but it looks more cerulean to my eye. Either way, this is one of my personal favorites! I used 2 coats of Ling just out of habit but depending on how thick you paint, this could definitely be a one-coater!  Such a gorgeous shade!

Rocha is a vibrant shade of red with a strong warm orange undertone.  Rocha was a little streaky on my first coat but by the second, it leveled out nicely--I used 3 smooth coats for the swatches. Now I know I've harped about not really liking orange but oh my! This one is knock-out shade and I'm tucking this into my travel bag when I head home to India!

Rooney is a medium pink creme. While Kitridge was a shade too pale for my complexion, Rooney is just perfect for me and I absolutely adore it!

Tilda is a bright green creme. If you love greens, be sure to snatch this beauty up!

Wendy is a coral creme with pink undertones. It's a shade darker than my camera picked up and oh-so-lovely--another one of my personal favorites! Love corals for summer!

So there you have it, my darlings! My very first official review for Zoya and I'm SO glad I got to jump right in with the gorgeous Tickled collection! If you want to add any of these beauties to your stash, you can find them on Zoya's website HERE for the price of $9 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle.
