YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks in Fuchsia and Rose : Review of my latest Influenster VoxBox

Hi there, my darlings! Recently, I was super excited to find out that I was chosen by Influenster to receive their Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture VoxBox. YSL and lippies? How could a beauty-loving girl NOT be over the moon, right?!

If you've never heard of Influenster, here's a little bit about them :

Even before we get to colors and swatches, can we take a minute to admire the packaging? Encased in sleek, shiny gold and engraved with the YSL logo, each lipstick comes in its own gold box.

I was sent two shades from their Collector's Edition Rouge Pur Couture line--Fuchsia (19) and Rose Stiletto (09).

This line of lipsticks is described as :

Rose Stiletto is described as "a rich berry rose".

Fuchsia is described as a "bright fuchsia pink."

When I first caught sneak peeks of these two on social media, I immediately zoned in on Fuchsia being my favorite. While this turned out to be quite true because I do love the shade, I was also pleasantly surprised to fall in love with Rose Stiletto too! It's really a beautiful rose pink shade, perfect for the office or more formal events, and doesn't wash out my complexion or make me look ashy. Win!

The formula of these lippies are amazing--they go on like butter, like velvet, like pure silk. They keep my lips so soft and hydrated--I usually use a bit of lipbalm before using any lipstick but these really don't need it!Plus, I love how pigmented they are from the very first swipe--the swatches below are just a couple of swipes each. When you're buying a luxury brand, you want to make them last!
