Hi there, my darlings! I want to say as I get older, but that sounds much too dramatic so let's just say, lately, I've really been enjoying testing and using natural beauty products. Often from smaller, lesser-known companies, you usually know exactly what you getting with these products. Today. Id like to share a few products from one such company specializing in all-natural beauty products--Maple Holistics.
I was asked to choose a few products from their website and I picked a set of 4 lip balms (which I saw on their Instagram) and a shampoo/conditioner duo.
Now, strangely, I couldn't find the lip balm set on their website but I'll tell you all my impresions of them nonetheless! The lip balm set comes in a pack of 4 different flavors--acai berry, pomengranate, peppermint and vanilla. Made with Vitamin E and all-natural oils like Sunflower Oil, these balms feel so smooth and velvety on your lips--not at all sticky or tacky.
My favorite? So far, it's the Pomegranate flavor! Absolutely delicious!

Right off the bat, I have to admit that I'm not a mint fan--I don't really like them in fragrances or balms or lotions. But surprisingly, I LOVED the minty scent of my hair, especially in the morning, right after I woke up--just something so refreshing and lovely about warm, minty-fresh HAIR!
As for the formula of the shampoo itself, in short...love it! My biggest pet peeve with all-natural shampoos is that often they're so weighted down with oils, that they barely lather. Not so with this one! It lathered up quite nicely and left my hair feeling squeaky-clean. The conditioner is thick and luxurious without leaving behind any kind of residue.
After rinsing off, my hair felt so soft and well-hydrated--I loved running my fingers through my hair! The only flaw? These don't really help with frizz--I let my hair air-dry overnight and the baby frizz blow-aways were out of control!
