Introducing...THE HOLO HOOKUP collaboration box for November 2015 : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! I have some exciting news to share today! Three of my favorite makers--Jill of Glisten & Glow, Missi of Different Dimension and Sara of Cupcake Polish--have teamed up to bring you a monthly, all-holo collaboration box dubbed The Holo Hookup. Each month, each of the three makers will create an exclusive polish for the theme of that month's box and every month will feature one guest maker. The debut box for November 2015 will feature the lovely Lulu of Elevation Polish and has the theme : 90's Hip Hop. Sounds fun, right?! Wait til you get a peek of the beauties these ladies created!

Inspired by Vanilla Ice's song of the same name, Ice, Ice Baby from Cupcake Polish is a silver linear holographic polish with a strong blue shimmer and added silver flakies. Smooth, easy application and formula--the swatches below show 2 coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. This beauty sparkles like a diamond under certain lights!

Inspired by Skee-Lo's I Wish, I Wish I Was A Little Bit Taller from Different Dimension is a rich eggplant purple with a linear holographic finish. Fantastic application and formula--the swatches below show 2 easy coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I'm so, so, so in LOVE with this shade--it's vampy and sexy and perfect for Fall!

Inspired by the Notorious B.I.G's song Juicy, It Was All A Dream from Glisten & Glow is a vibrant blue-green with a strong linear holographic finish and a touch of blue, purple and turquoise microflakies. Perfect application and formula--the swatches below show 3 thin coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. The holo flame on this was so strong, it all but blew out my camera! What an utterly gorgeous shade of blue-green!

Inspired by the solo album of Wu Tang clan member Genius/GZA, Liquid Swords from guest maker, Elevation Polish is a rosy pink creme with a loose linear or tightly scattered holographic finish. Buttery smooth application and formula--the swatches below show 2 smooth coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. This one is so feminine and pretty!
