LIQUID SKY LACQUER Part I : XTC, Enchanted Waterfall, and Tripindicular

Hello my darlings!!!!!!!!!!! Do you notice an abundance of exclamation points in that greeting right there?! Well, it's because I'm SUPER excited about the next set of posts! Now most of you know by now that nothing makes me happier than a holo...and today I have not one, not two, but SEVEN gorgeous holos from Liquid Sky Lacquer for review! Since I'm known to get a wee bit click-happy when it comes to holos,  I decided to split them up into three separate posts--this one dedicated to her core holos, one following this post dedicated to her newest releases (plus a sneak peek of an upcoming, unreleased shade!) and one post to show off the fun that is one of her thermal color-changing holos! So, strap on, dear readers! It's gonna be a GREAT ride!

Now, before we jump into the actual reviews, let me take a minute to point out what a great set of conversations I've had with Carolyn, the maker of Liquid Sky Lacquer--she's young, fun and loves her holos as much as I do! So obviously, we hit it off right away! Besides our love of holos, which we both bonded on animated movies and the world of Instagram (of which I'm still relatively unaware) so it should come as no surprise that I asked her for an exclusive interview with me...and she agreed! So stay tuned! Much to look forward to!

OK, now let's get into the reviews of the holos she so generously sent me, shall we?

First, I have for you XTC--a bright, neon pink with a light holographic effect. I was super impressed with both the application and the dry time on this polish--there was no streaking, it applied buttery-smooth and dried in less than 3 mins! I used 3 coats for the swatches below, out of habit, but this beauty is fully opaque in 2 coats. Isn't this the most perfect shade for summer?

With flash!

Next, I have Enchanted Waterfall--a stunning blue-green jelly linear holographic polish. The formula on this, being a jelly, is on the thinner side and required 4 coats of full opacity. But again the dry time was super fast and the rich depths was so worth it! I also think this would be great for layering or even as a jelly sandwich!

The third polish I have is Tripindicular, which my absolute fave of the whole lot and is Carolyn's very first holo--a STUNNING magenta-red linear holographic polish. The application and dry time on this was fabulous and I used 3 coats for the swatches below. Again, 3 coats wasn't even necessary--this beauty is opaque in 2! I'm TOTALLY in love with this polish and it explodes with linear rainbows in almost every angle!

With flash!

So there you have it, darlings! The first 3 of Liquid Sky Lacquer's holographic beauties! If you need to add any of these stunners to your collection, you can find them HERE for a full-sized, 0.5 oz bottle--the next restock is on August 16th and you won't want to miss it!

As always, I'd love to hear from you in the comments section below--feel free to leave me feedback or suggestions, or just stop by to say hi! =)

Until next time,
<3
