Barielle Cosmetics : Nude and Naughty Collection

Hi my darlings! I have some exciting news to share with you today! I will be working regularly with Barielle, as one of their bloggers, now and in the future to bring you reviews and swatches of their latest collections!! This is so exciting for me since Barielle is such a well-loved company and the polishes I have in my stash from Barielle have both been gorgeous and easy to apply (think : Falling Star and Elle's Spell)!! So, yay!!

Jumping right into the first of my reviews, I would like to introduce to you the Nude and Naughty collection, which should be available in October 2013. This is a collection of neutral shades in a number of different finishes from creme to shimmer--I'm sure this collection has just the perfect nude polish for you!

(All descriptions is italics and quotation marks are from Barielle's press release.)

The first polish I have for you is Very Bare, described as "an opalescent pink". On me, this was a rather creamy ivory--my complexion unfortunately didn't show the pink in this polish. Application-wise, this is a rather sheer polish and can be prone to a bit of streakiness but it all evens out as you can see below with subsequent coats to give a smooth, opaque finish! I used 3 coats for the swatches below, with one coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look.

The second polish is this collection is Pillow Talk, described as a "pale peach"--this is the most apt description of this shade, peachy perfection! The application on this shade was perfect--smooth and easy. I used 3 coats for the swatches below, with one coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look.

The third polish in this collection is No Not Now, described as a "sheer toffee" which showed up peachy-mauve on me. I really liked this shade and really felt that it flattered my complexion! No issues with applications and I used 3 coats for the swatches below, with one coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look.

The fourth polish in this collection is hands-down my favorite--I Got A Headache is described as a "shimmery caramel". This polish is a gorgeous caramel shade with a rich, warm golden shimmer that I absolutely love! Application was flawless and I used 3 coats for the swatches below, with one coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look.

The final polish in this collection is In Good Taste, described as a "chocolate brown". This unique shade is indeed a shade that calls to the mind the milkiest of chocolates! Application was a breeze and I used 3 coats, with one coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look.

So there you have it--a sneak peek into Barielle's upcoming Fall 2013 Nude and Naughty collection! You will be able to find each of these shades HERE as of October, for the price of $8.00 for a full-size, 0.45 oz bottle or for $25 for the entire collection!
So what do you think of this collection? Which one is your favorite nude? Did you find the perfect neutral shade for YOUR complexion? Tell me in the comments section below--as always, I love to hear from you!!

Until next time,
<3
