THE HOLO HOOKUP collaboration box for December 2016 : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! 2016 is just about over...YAY! To say this year has been a challenge is an understatement. But 2016 also brought us more of the The Holo Hookup and for holo polish lovers like me (and you!), this was great news! December marks over an entire year of THH and you know the ladies had to do something special! The theme for December 2016's all-holo The Holo Hookup collaboration box featuring Jill of Glisten & Glow, Missi of Different Dimension, Sara of Cupcake Polish and special guest, Darling Diva Polish is "Hollywood Bombshells". When you take a look at the inspiration pic below, can you already feel the anticipation of a great box?!

Grace from Cupcake Polish is a "metallic silver linear holo". Fabulous formula and application--the swatches below show 2 easy coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. This gorgeous silvery gray is not only mega holo but perfect for the Winter!

Audrey from Different Dimension is a "hot pink linear holographic polish with added shimmers and microglitters". Smooth, creamy formula and application--the swatches below show just 2 thin coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to bring it all together. The perfect Barbie doll pink, if I ever saw one!

Mae from Glisten & Glow is a "black linear holo with red and purple shimmers and silver galaxy glitters". Fantastic application and formula--the swatches below show 2 easy coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I've already waxed eloquent about those galaxy glitters of Jill's but what sets this ultra holo black apart is that stunning purple shimmer!

Vivien from Darling Diva Polish  is a "burgundy holo with gold shimmer and gold holo sparks". Lovely formula and application--the swatches below show just 2 easy coats, topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I've been a long-time fan of DDP's red holos and I'm thrilled to add another beauty to my stash!

So there you have it my darlings! Pre-orders for December 2016's box will begin Monday 11/21/2016 at 9 pm EST at the Holo Hookup's website HERE, and continue through Monday 11/28/2016 at 9 pm EST. This collection of 4 exclusive, all holographic polishes will be priced at $40. Both domestic and international shipping will be available! And guess what?! To celebrate passing the year-mark (13 months, to be exact, as THH launched November 2015), the ladies are offering FREE domestic shipping and reduced shipping internationally ($5.00 off the normal international and Canada shipping rates) for December's box! Now, if that isn't incentive enough, I don't know what is!
