BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY 2016 BEAUTY STEALS

Hi there, my darlings! Happy almost-Thanksgiving! I know that most of you are super busy today, what with finishing off the work day and then preparing for the festivities, so I'll try to keep today's post short but sweet! We all look forward to Thanksgiving but if you're like me, you probably just a wee bit more excited for the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday followed closely by the equally deal-tastic Cyber Monday. For the beauty obsessed, this means scoring some serious sweet deals on some of your favorite products which may be just that tad bit out of reach during the rest of the year or just stocking up, you know, just in case. So, I've been working on gathering a few great deals for these next few shopping extravaganza days, along with my thoughts on a couple of picks from each brand. Take a peek!

MY RECOMMENDATIONS: Whatever Christie Brinkley is using for her flawless skin,, I obviously want in my life. While her Pure Radiance Illuminating Facial Oil ($49) would work wonderfully for those of you with dry skin, personally I'm loving her Inlighter Spot Corrector and Brightening Serum ($69) for my combination, acne-prone skin. Not only does this feel so good on my skin, immediately brightening it, but it smells wonderful!

MY RECOMMENDATIONS: I've been testing the Brightening Serum + Corrector ($125)and the Hydrating Brightening Cream ($70) for a couple of weeks as part of my night-time skincare routine and I love the way they make my skin look and feel! Despite the stress of the past few weeks and the occasional breakout, my best friend complimented me on how great my skin looks just last night. Now, these are pretty pricey so this is the perfect time to snag a few products!

Even with my combination skin, this fast-absorbing, non-greasy oil works beautifully to leave my skin hydrated and super soft! I'm loving the Marula Oil Foaming Facial Towelettes ($10) for removing stubborn makeup. Love those liquid matte lippies but hate the removal? Yeah, me too! Give these a whirl and you'll never be left with lipstick residue all around your mouth!

MY RECOMMENDATIONS: What do I look for in a hair styling product? In one word, volume! I want my hair to look full and bouncy and healthy. The Thickening and Plumping Spray ($18) does just that! I spray on and leave my hair to air-dry as usual or blow-dry for extra oomph!

MY RECOMMENDATIONS: I usually stay away from styling products because they inevitably tend to weigh my hair down or make it greasy. Surprisingly, my experience with the Style Lock Strong Hold Hairspray ($19.95) was quite different. It does indeed live up to its claim to de-frizz while still leaving hair soft and your style intact!

MY RECOMMENDATIONS: You know what the very best thing about Cover FX is? I love that they cater to such a wide variety of skin tones! If you're looking for a few products to try, I highly recommend their Perfect Pencil ($20), a quick and easy way to conceal, line and contour that is available in 10 shades--a true multi-tasker! You should also grab a couple of their range of Customizable Click Sticks ($18) which I have raved about HERE.
