WINTER IS COMING--Let RENPURE Save Your Hair!

Hi there, my darlings! To quote a very popular series...Winter is coming. So, be necessity, we must turn our thoughts to the hordes across the wall...No, that's not right. What I meant is, we must turn our thoughts to hydration. Winter means dryness--dry hands and feet, dry skin, dry, brittle hair. Dry, dry, dry. How do we combat this all-pervading dryness? Apparently, we turn to the tropical lands of my birth and look to coconuts. Generations of Indian mothers and grandmothers have extolled the virtues of the humble coconut and I, as a teenager, scarcely paid attention. It's in my 30s in an entirely different continent with an entirely different climate that I'm truly appreciating the benefits of the much-ignored coconut of my youth. They really do have a host of benefits, don't they? Today, we're talking about a line of hair care, using not the more common coconut oil but made from coconut water--RenPure's Coconut Water line.

Coconut Water Shampoo ($8.99 at Target)

The best way to start your day is with our refreshing Coconut Water Hydrating Shampoo. This formula gently cleans hair with coconut oil to help restore moisture, infuse nutrients, and create stronger hair.

Coconut Water Conditioner ($8.99 at Target)

Smooth and shine your hair in a creamy bath of our, Coconut Water Conditioner. This formula is sure to help soften and repair dry, dull, brittle hair with lightweight coconut water that creates a more vibrant, healthy, beautiful look.

My only problem with products that contain coconut oil is that they really weigh my combination hair down and my scalp gets greasy twice as quickly. I found that this duo helped me avoid that problem. Yes, they are hydrating but they are also quite light--once rinsed clean, my hair felt softer but not heavy. Very refreshing, just like the tropical, coconut scent!

Coconut Crème Deep Treatment Masque ($8.99 at Target)

Our intensive, Coconut Crème Deep Treatment Masque is a rich, creamy Coconut formula infused with antioxidants and vitamins that provide your locks with an intensive conditioning treatment that helps give way to super smooth, healthy, nourished hair.

As I just mentioned, my scalp tends to get greasy and yes, often itchy very easily. To prevent that, I use a dandruff shampoo at least once a week to get my scalp really clean. Although it's a 2-in-1 shampoo-conditioner duo, my hair is often left very dry at the ends. This mask has been a lifesaver for those days! I slather on a nice scoop of this mask on my ends and rinse out after a few minutes. My scalp is clean AND my ends are soft--win-win!

Coconut Crème Curl Defining Cream ($8.99 at Target)

Our coconut-infused Curl Defining Cream is designed to enhance your natural curls by providing optimal hold. This conditioning formula helps give your hair exceptional flexibility, creates great curl memory, and frizz control.

This is the only product in this line that I didn't love. I tend to stay away from stylng products since I air-dry my hair more often than not. Unless you're blow-drying your hair, this cream does tend to leave a bit of residue behind. I would assume it would be great for those with very dry, tight curls who are used to styling their hair. Personally, this tub isn't going to get much use.

So there you have it, my darlings! Go on and stock up for those Winter days!

  5. There was a coconut soup that I loved at an Indian restaurant on 125th St. in NY back in the day. I love coconut and coconut water to eat and in personal care products. I love the look of these. I too like to use a regular conditioner on my hair but put a mask or heavier conditioner on my ends. I will remember Coconut Creme for after I make some headway in my haircare stash.

  13. Using natural hair care products is the best practice for getting beautiful, strong and smooth hairs for a long term. Most of the hair care products available in the market today are not natural and are manufactured using different chemicals, synthetic materials and a very less or no composition of natural materials. shampoo for Seborrheic Dermatitis

  14. If you have been cutting your hair at various hair salons, you would have noticed that all hair stylists have their own style in styling and cutting hair. There are bad ones but there are also good ones that you should stick to for a long run. Similar to cutting hair, there are a plethora of hair products out there in the market and it is important to choose the right one that will suit your hair type. Hopefully after this post, you will understand in greater detail the differences between the products so that you can make a more informed purchase. Best hair vitalizer for hair growth in India
