MILANI Spring 2014 collection : Swatches and Review (PART II)

Hi, my darlings! Ready for the remaining 6 polishes from Milani Cosmetics' Spring 2014 collection? I know I am because I have not one, not two but three faves in this bunch!

Just to reiterate from my last post : Across the board and except for a couple of minor exceptions which will be noted as we go along, I found these polishes to be of a creamy, smooth consistency and very easy-to-use--again, I absolutely love the new, flat brush that was just wide enough to paint the nail in easy strokes without making a mess! I used 2 coats of each creme by itself and I found them to self-level out quite nicely once they dried--no streaks, no patches! For the glitter topcoats, I used just ONE generous, heavy-handed coat which I dabbed on, then topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl to bring it all together!

On to swatches! =)

Colorful Coral is a coral creme polish that leans more orange than pink. Surprisingly, even though oranges are not my thing, I absolutely fell in love with this polish! In my mind, this shade of coral is just perfect for Spring!

Sugar High is a clear glitter topcoat full of teeny, tiny matte glitters in various colors. This was quite similar to Sugar Rim from my previous post, minus the shards. Equally pretty!

Power Periwinkle is a periwinkle blue creme polish. This was another one of my faves! I love periwinkle shades and this one is just perfection in 2 easy coats!

Sugar Burst is a clear glitter topcoat full of baby pink hexes in various sizes and baby pink micro-slices, accented with a sprinkling of tiny iridescent glitters. Gosh! I fell so hard for this and loved everything about how this particular look turned out! To me, the effect of the topcoat almost looks like a touch of lace over a favorite Spring dress!

Splendid Strawberry is a bright, mid-toned pink polish--a shade darker than Popping Pink but way more pink than Colorful Coral. Just gorgeous!

Sugar Coated is a clear glitter topcoat full of light green hexes in various sizes and light-green micro-slices, accented with the barest sprinkling of holographic microglitter. This one was quite similar to Sugar Coated and, to my eye, gives a similar sort of lace-like effect!
