SASSY PANTS POLISH Ice Cream Social collection : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! So, it seems Spring is NEVER gonna really arrive this year! It's pouring rain and gloomy and miserable in NYC...and it's already the middle of April. But let's not give up hope! As part of our new indie feature series with Sassy Pants Polish, I'd like to share my thoughts on her Ice Cream Social collection--if this collection doesn't get you in the mood for Spring, NOTHING will!

The Ice Cream Social collection consists of 6 cremes inspired by popular frozen treats. A happy medium between pastels and neons, a couple of them did tend to be a bit streaky at first but leveled out nicely with subsequent coats and topcoat. Unless mentioned specifically below, the swatches below show 3 thin coats of each polish, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. Now, on to swatches!

Blue Moon is described as "a medium blue cream polish which was inspired by the Blue Moon ice cream that is popular in the midwest". Such a pretty cornflower blue!

Coconut Lime is described as "a lime green cream polish which was inspired by the bright and tart ice cream". I did have a little trouble with streakiness with this one but if you like greens, this is worth the extra patience.

Orange Sherbet is described as "an orange cream polish which was inspired by the classic sweet and tart frozen treat". Although a little tricky to apply, this orange immediately made me want a popsicle or something!

Purple Passion is described as "a medium purple cream polish which was inspired by the beautiful purple ice cream that is made by blending raspberries, blackberries and passionfruit". Requiring only 2 coats for a perfect finish, this beautiful purple is my favorite of the collection!

Strawberry Sorbet is described as "a medium pink cream polish which was inspired of course by the delicious dairy free treat made with fresh strawberries". Another one I loved, this pink is so bright yet so flattering on my complexion!

Sprinkles is described as "a pastel glitter mix of glitter because what ice cream (or mani) is complete without sprinkles on top?". Now I did have to dab and place these glitters, since just brushing it on didn't give the effect I was going for, but this is such a fun little glitter that I didn't mind one bit! Shown here over Orange Sherbet.

So there you have it, my darlings! The Ice Cream Social collection can be found on Sassy Pants Polish's store HERE--each full-size, 15 mL bottle is priced at $10.00. Wanna grab the whole collection? You can grab it at a discounted price for $55.00!
