M POLISH Fall 2015 collection (plus a bonus) : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Bright and early, as part of our featured event, I'd like to share with you all the first part of my reviews of our featured indie, M Polish's products! Now, Megan sent me a huge pile of goodies to test and share with you so I'm devoting the whole day on the blog to her--yup, this is the first of THREE posts all featuring M Polish beauties! I'm really excited so let's get started!

But first, let's talk quickly about the formula and application of these polishes. M Polish's Fall 2015 collection consist of 6 metallic polishes that can be applied traditionally or used to stamp. This post shows traditional swatches. Now, metallics are notoriously finicky, often brush-strokey, streaky and a general pain in the butt! But these...were different. Across the board,  each was easily opaque in just ONE COAT. Yeah, you heard right. One, easy coat and they applied absolutely beautifully! I did use a matte topcoat as a basecoat, as I often do with metallics and neons, but these really just went one like butter. ALL the swatches below show just ONE coat of each polish by itself. Take a peek!

Baroque is a burnt red metallic. I love how rich and inviting this shade is!

Bronze is a bronze metallic with gold undertones. This one should be a staple for all you nail art lovers out there!

Copper is a rich copper metallic. One of my favorites!

Elizabethan is a warm brown metallic with gold undertones. You can even call this an antique or burnished gold!

Guilded is a bright gold metallic. Another instant fave, I love how intense this gold is!

Iron is a stormy silvery gray metallic. What a perfect, perfect metallic silver!

BONUS : Megan also sent me I Need A Vacation from her Polish of My People collection and since it's also a gorgeous, ONE coat metallic, I thought I'd show it off in this post. I Need A Vacation is a bright red metallic and you already know I LOVE it!
