M POLISH Cayuga, Pekin, Stamping and Nail Art!

Hi there, my darlings! Last but not least, rounding out our feature of M Polish is this post, which many of you may have been waiting for! The stamping comparisons and nail art! M Polish prides herself on creating polish that can be worn traditionally but also stamps over both light and dark colors. I've done just that--you will see how each polish looks stamped over black AND white. Plus there's a bunch of nail art I created at the end. Since this post contains LOTS of pics so I'm going to let the pics do most of the talking.

This is M Polish's Cayuga--a perfect, one coater black. I used this as the base of half the stamping comparisons I did below!

First, the Fall 2015 collection stamped over Cayuga, topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

This is M Polish's Pekin--a slightly thicker, bright white that's great for stamping but a little too thick for traditional wear. Nonetheless, I used this as the base for the other half of the stamping comparisons.

FINAL THOUGHTS : I consider myself an intermediate stamper, at best, so there was some user error involved but what can you do, right?

I found, for me, the Fall metallics stamped the most cleanly and looked fabulous over both dark and light colors, as well as glossy or matte. Very versatile and so exciting for nail art!

The Winter collection, I found a little more finicky when it came to stamping--the microflakies and scattered holo particles often got in the way of a clean stamp. I prefer these shades over a dark color and with a glossy topcoat. Worn traditionally, these polishes are beautiful too!

NAIL ART : I had an absolute blast creating nail art with these polishes! Inspiration just came rushing and I created not one, not two but SEVEN looks using the polishes Megan sent me! Take a look!

1. Subtle floral : I used a base of Zoya Honor, stamped with M Polish Cranberry, Figgy and Bells, topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

2. Radial gradient and floral stamping : I created a radial gradient using Virtuous Polish Humility and Sinful Colors Truth or Lavendare and stamped with M Polish Cayuga, topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

With OPI matte topcoat :

3. Sexy red-to-black gradient and stamping : I created a gradient with Zoya Hannah and Ever After Polish Naughty list, stamped with M Polish Guilded and topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

With OPI matte topcoat :

4. French Tips with a twist : I used a base of Zoya April and created french tips with Sinful Colors Why Not, stamped with a gradient of M Polish Carol and I Need A Vacation and topped with OPI matte topcoat.

5. Autumn Leaves : This is a pond mani using Ever After Polish First Frost, with layered stamping using M Polish Bronze, Baroque, Copper and Elizabethan and topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

  1. OMG, I kept thinking this one is my favorite and then I saw the next and the next. Just fabulous. So impressive. I think the first set of black, the red to black ombre with the gold stamping, and the wintry snowflakes were my favorites. But I'm blown away by them all!

  2. I love these! The polish stamped over black blew me away. I wish I had a manicurist here who would do that to my nails. Another favorite is the red nails with the golden polish stamped on.
