Hi there, my darlings! It's been raining NON-STOP in NYC and I'm pretty sick of it! But the sun has finally peeked out of the clouds today! So, in hopes of ushering in warmer weather and a bit more sun, let's take a look at a collection that's sure to be a warm weather favorite--Pure Poison Polish, Get ready for some fabulous neons!
The Spring Break collection consists of 6 bright, neon cremes. 2 white based crellies and a clear glitter topper. The neons are, hands down, some of the best I've worked with EVER. Almost all of them, unless specifically mentioned, go on with hardly a streak in sight, need no undies and are fully opaque in 2 easy coats. Unless mentioned specifically below, the swatches below show just 2 coats of each polish, topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. We'll discuss the application of the crellies and the topper, as we get to them. Now, on to swatches!
Drunk by Noon is a shockingly bright, neon highlighter yellow creme. A little streaky at first, I did use 3 thin coats to get it to the opacity that I liked. You need sunglasses for this baby!
Salt Sun and Coconut Rum is a white crelly with 3 sizes of yellow, blue and green glitters. The swatches below show 3 thin coats by itself on the index and pinkie fingers and 2 thin coats over 2 coats of Sally Hansen's OMGhost on the middle and ring fingers, all topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. Now, I did place a couple of extra glittters on the middle and ring fingers to make this look more even but this crelly applies quite smoothly, with no no fishing for glitter needed. Such a fun crelly!

Booze Cruise is a super bright, neon green creme. 3 thin coats for full opacity and a smooth finish. Green lovers unite!
What are Tan Lines? is a bright, neon tangerine orange creme. Another one I preferred with 3 thin coats rather than two. Have you even seen an orange this bright?!
How Much Did You Drink? is a clear glitter topper packed full of small and micro sized neon glitter. The swatches below show 2 thin coats over 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Going Nude-Where, all topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. This topper goes on smooth and easy as butter! I love the combo of nude and neons!
Mattefied with OPI Matte Finish topcoat :
Passed Out by the Pool is a beautiful bright, neon blue creme. So pretty!
Bikini Optional is a gorgeous hot neon pink creme. One of my faves, this is so gonna be a summer staple!
Tropical Cocktail Concoction is a white based crelly with larger neon pink and purple circles and mini neon pink, purple, orange, yellow and green matte glitter. Again, I did place a couple of extra glittters on the middle and ring fingers to make this look more even and the circle do tend to stick together a bit but there's no dearth of glitters in this polish! My fave of the 3 crellies! I got a thing for circle glitters!
