Hi there, my darlings! It is SUCH a beautiful day in NYC! The sun's shining and the temperature is perfect--not too hot, not too cold. It's really just the perfect Spring weather! And it seems the perfect time to share a Spring collection! As part of our new indie feature series with Kathleen and Co., it's time to share her Spring 2016 collection!
The Spring collection consists of 6 polishes with unique metallic finishes. These are not metallic in the true sense of the word but gives off a metallic look due to being packed with flakies and shreds. Despite all that flakie action, I had absolutely no trouble at all with formula or application--these apply beautifully and are fully opaque in 2 easy coats but I added a third for more depth. Unless mentioned specifically below, the swatches below show 3 thin coats of each polish, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look. Now, on to swatches!
Pink Diamond Crush is described as a "stunning soft pink packed with shimmer, flakies and holo shreds." So delicate and pretty!
Electric Bluegaloo is described as a "light yet vibrant electric blue loaded with lots of shimmer, an assortment of flakies, and silver holo shreds." Such a beautiful shade of blue!
Lemon Drop is described as an "incredibly shiny and vibrant soft yellow nail polish that is packed with shimmer, flakes, and holo shreds." Bright, fun, happy shade of polish!
Purple Craze is described as a "gorgeous lilac loaded with shimmer, flakies and holo shreds." If you love purples, like I do, you must have this!
Rose Gold Digger is described as "packed with lots of different flakies and is the only color from the Spring 2016 Collection that does not have holo shreds." One of my faves from this collection, it's such a stunning metallic!
Green Electroland is described as a "gorgeous light green metallic polish filled with shimmer, flakes and holo shreds throughout." One of my faves from this collection, it's so stunning!
