Introducing...DREAMLAND LACQUER Great Romances trio for Valentine's Day 2016 : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! So, this afternoon, I'd like to introduce you to and share with you all the reason behind Noelie of Smitten Polish rebranding as Dreamland Lacquer. In short, after a lengthy trademark dispute that just became more of a headache than it was worth, Noelie has decided to re-brand as Dreamland Lacquer and her very first inaugural collection will be launching tomorrow. Let's take a look at the Great Romances trio for Valentine's Day 2016!


 I Made a Promise is a "soft gold holographic polish with the addition of holographic glitter ".

Inspiration : "What Valentine’s Day would be complete without a polish inspired the world’s greatest bromance? I Made a Promise is inspired by the One Ring, and the promise of Samwise Gamgee to never leave his friend Frodo Baggins."

Lovely application and formula--the swatches below show 3 thin coats topped with 1 generous coat of Noelie's new glossy topcoat. This beauty sparkles true to its name!

Breakfast at Luke's is a "super sparkly Tiffany blue holo microglitter polish".

Inspiration : "For Lorelai Gilmore, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Because COFFEE. Because chemistry. Because Luke."

Burned Jam in Vermont is a "thermal flakie polish that goes from bright red in the warm state to blackened red in the cold state".

Inspiration : "Olivia Pope and Fitzgerald Grant. Hot. Cold. Off. On. Smoldering. Sexy. "

Perfect application and formula, even with all those flakies--the swatches below show 3 thin coats topped by itself. This is absolutely my fave! Just wait til you see the dramatic transitions!
