ZOYA Naturel Deux (2) : Swatches and Review

Zoya-Naturel-Deux

Hi there, my darlings! Today, I have for all of you my review of a collection that I've had tucked away for awhile, while I waited for...just...the...right time. What time is that, you may ask? Well, I'll tell you--the beginning of my favorite season, FALL! Now, I love Fall...the temperatures start to get cooler, the food gets richer and the color palette gets warmer. And to top it all off, I'm an October baby so what's not to love, right? Fall, also, means back-to-school or, for those of us who work AT schools, back to work. And I think this is the perfect time to bring out Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment's Naturel Deux (2) collection!

The Naturel Deux (2) collection consists of 6 nude or neutral creme shades that are perfect for the office or a professional event, yes, but they're also great for Fall! All six shades are perfectly opaque cremes in 2 coats, though you can get away with one coat for some of them, if you tend to paint in slightly thicker coats. Across the board, the formula of these cremes were great--opaque at 2 coats and they leveled out quite nicely as they dried. All the swatches below show 2 smooth coats by itself, no topcoat. With all that said, let's take a look at swatches, shall we?

Spencer is a light, camel-toned beige creme. I thought this was such a nice nude for my complexion, just a shade darker so that I didn't end up with the dreaded "mannequin" hands.

Chanelle is described as a "toasted almond" but reminds me of nothing so much as rich, creamy milk chocolate! Another perfect nude for us darker-complexioned ladies, right?

Madeline is a dusty rose creme. This one surprised me--I'll admit I wasn't impressed withit in the bottle but it's so very pretty in real life! Delicate and feminine!

Aubrey is a mauve creme. This, hands down, is one of my two faves in this collection. You can't beat a good creme and this one just made me gasp a little in happiness!

Emilia is described as a "dark chocolate" creme but it was a true chameleon in my eyes. It just had so much depth and seemed to change at every angle. Is it charcoal? Is it chocolate? Try it out and see for yourself!

Marnie is a plum creme. The second of my two favorites in this collection, the color is rich enough to be perfect for Fall while still subtle enough to wear with ease at a professional event. Love, love, love!
