ALIQUID LACQUER Puppy Love : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Today, I have a special post for you...special because this post should appeal to all you myriad pooch-lovers out there! Now, I'm not a big dog lover myself--I'm more of a crazy cat lady (or, rather, I would be if I didn't live in a pet-free building in Brooklyn) but hey! I've seen enough love between doggies and their humans to know how strong that bond can be. Which is why it's so incomprehensible to me that there are so many dogs, still crowding shelters. So when Alison of ALIQUID Lacquer reached out to me about reviewing a special charity polish that would benefit these pooches, I just couldn't say no. Read on for Alison's inspiration and why this is a cause so close to her heart :

You might know that the lovely lady on our polish labels is Trudy, our five-year-old rescue pit bull mix. Trudy is such an irreplaceable part of our lives that we can barely remember life before her! In honor of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, we decided to give back by creating a limited edition charity polish that will be available through October only! Puppy Love is indeed a gorgeous teal and I love the flecks through the polish, which are accented with just a hint of holographic sparkle. I had absolutely no issues with the formula and I found the polish to be fully opaque with 2 generous coats, shown below topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl. A truly beautiful polish for a cause so dear to Alison's heart!
