HIT OR MISS? WET N WILD'S NEW 1 STEP WONDER GEL NAIL COLOR

Hi there, my darlings! Happy Hump Day! Now while I love my new job, my new schedule is kicking my butt! Not to mention my 2-hour commute...one way! As you can imagine, I literally have time for nothing! So, I thought to myself that this was the PERFECT time to try a couple of Wet n Wild's new 1 Step Wonder Gel Nail Colors. Because, if I even get time for a mani during the week, you know it better be super fast! Are they destined to be my mani saviors? Well, read on to find out!

1 STEP WONDER GEL NAIL COLOR ($4.99)

The first gel formula that doesn’t require a top coat and cures without a lamp, this nail color breakthrough is about to become your nail MVP. Provides up to 2 weeks of color and shine in 1 easy step.

Pinky Swear is a pale, pale baby pink creme. I have to admit I had quite a hard time with this one. It was quite streaky and even though I let each coat dry completely, I had problems with little bubbles forming all throughout. It may be the heat lately but application was a challenge. The swatches below show 3 coats by itself.

Lilac A Virgin is a light lilac creme. I still had some issues with streakiness but not nearly as much as Pinky Swear. And thankfully, no bubbles! The swatches below show 3 coats by itself. I quite like this pretty pastel!

It's Sher-Bert Day! is a hot pink creme. Now this was a clear winner! Depending on how you paint your coats, you could totally get away with just 1 coat of this one. The swatches below show 2 coats by itself, simply because I have a LOT of ridges of my nails. Gorgeous bright pink for Summer!

So there you have it, my darlings! You can pick up any of these fun products on Wet n Wild's website HERE or in select retailers AND drugstores across the US and Canada.

  3. I find that any super pale pink polish will bubble. There was an Essie polish I just loved but had to stop wearing because it always bubbled even if it was a brand new bottle. I like Lilac a Virgin much better.

  5. That is pretty impressive for not having top coat! I hate that the first two were bubbly and streaky.
