SMOKEY MOUNTAIN LACQUERS New Year 2016 collection : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Can you believe Christmas in just 3 days away? And New Year's Day just a little over a week away? I mean, where did 2015 go?? But, I don't know about you, I have a great expectations for the New Year! On to bigger and better! With that firmly in mind, I'd like to share with you all what may be my favorite collection from Kim of Smokey Mountain Lacquers--her New Year 2016 collection consisting of 4 gorgeous polishes! Let's take a look!

Baby, It's Cold Outside is  described as "a unique white shimmer polish filled with white opal glitter and white snowflake glitter." Lovely formula and application--this shimmery beauty goes on like butter and dries super quickly. The swatches below show 3 coats by itself on the first and pinkie fingers and just 1 generous coat over 2 thin coats of Sally Hansen's OMGhost on the middle and ring fingers, all topped with 2 generous coats of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Ok, just LOOK at those snowflakes! SO MUCH FUN!

Resolutions is described as "a purple ultra holo glitterbomb." Absolutely fantastic formula and application, this was a breeze to apply! The swatches below show 3  thin coats by itself, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I absolutely adore this polish! So perfect for New Year's Eve!

Ball Drop is described as "a silver chrome polish with silver holo hex glitter and scattered holo." Metallics can be tricky to apply but I'm thrilled to let you all know that that was NOT the case here--this went on beautifully. The swatches below show 3  thin coats by itself, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Sparkly and full of bling, this one is another perfect choice for NYE!

Sub-Zero is described as "a thermal that goes from light blue to dark blue and has subtle holo." This wore a little streaky for me on the first coat but leveled out quite nicely by the third. The swatches below show 3 thin coats by itself, first at ambient body temperature and then in its cold state. So pretty at any state!
