IMPRESSIONS : I had huge expectations for this curling iron, just based on the description and the price tag. And while I don't hate it at all, there is definitely disadvantages to it along with a bit of a learning curve. The iron has 5 heat settings and I had to jack it all the way up to the 4th setting before I began to see any curling effect--I have super long, quite thick tresses so I only managed to get a good curl at the ends. The GO button is kind of inconveniently placed, just under the lever that releases the hair clamp, and it's a challenge finding the darn thing, especially when you're working the strands on the top or towards the back of your head--this is a rather large device so you kind of have to feel around for that elusive GO button. Also DO NOT make the mistake that I did and use a good heat protectant serum before you curl--I got lazy and went to town on my hair without one. The Twirl 360 can get REALLY hot and let's just say my hair was NOT happy with me afterwards.

There ARE some pretty stellar advantages to the Twirl 360 though. Even with my super long hair, I noticed that, once I found that GO button, the automated rotating ability was amazing. I was super impressed with how easily and smoothly it wrapped my hair around the barrel, without getting tangled up or uncomfortable in any way. The clamp and lever works beautifully to secure and release sections of hair as you work. Best part? The tip really does stay cool! I didn't burn my fingers once, which is a feat for me!
