IT'S A NAIL appliqués : Review and Nail Art Looks

Hi there, my darlings! This afternoon, I have a post that I've been literally sitting on for a couple of months, biding my time, waiting for the just the right time. And that time, I do believe is finally here! Yesterday was officially the first day of summer and already the temperatures are climbing well in the high 80s. I bet many of you are about and about, seaking out beaches and outdoor activities. Who has time to do there nails, right? Well, today's post deals with 3 easy, quick as can be manis you can do using nail polish appliqués by Incoco from It's A Nail. Not just manicures but nail art in a snap!

First up, I created this tribal accented mani using the Play Along set. On my index and pinky fingers, I used Jordana Cosmetics Merry Mint, topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat and some cute nail sequins!

Next up, my personal fave! I created this super sexy black lac and gold mani using the Behind The Scenes set. On my ring fingers, I used my just one coat of my fave black, Salon Perfect Oil Slick, topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat and a gold heart sequin!

Last but definitely not the least, I created this geometric tribal accented mani using the Good Times set. On my index and pinky fingers, I used my fave white, Sally Hansen OMGhost, topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat and black triangular studs.

GENERAL IMPRESSIONS : These appliqués go on fairly quickly and really quite easily. I was quite impressed with the sizes included in each set--they seemed pretty darn perfect for my nail width and shape. The designs were funky and on trend--I definitely would NOT have been able to hand-paint that last tribal set! Since these are made of 100% nail polish, they come right off with regular nail polish remover--if you're like me and like to change up your manis pretty often, these are a godsend! No mess, no fuss, no dry time!

That being said, there are a couple of cons. It can be a bit hard to smooth the appliqués around your cuticles--as you can probably see from the pics, I had a particularly difficult time with the Good Times set. Another word to the wise, be cautious when trimming and filing the excess around your tips--I got a little distracted and as you can see, my tips aren't as well-covered as I prefer. Lastly, each set comes with 16 appliqués and the range of sizes is pretty huge--some were way too big and would be a huge hassle to fit to any of my nails. But you could definitely get one full mani and a couple of accents out of one pack!

So there you have it, my darlings! These and a whole host of designs in appliqués can be found on It's A Nail's website HERE  for the price of $7.99 for a 16-pack set. Don't forget to follow It's A Nail through INSTAGRAM for all the latest updates and new product launches.

Which of these three is YOUR favorite? I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!

Until next time,
