DOCTOR LACQUER Cassini and Viking : Swatches, review and comparison

Hi there, my darlings! This afternoon, as always before wrapping up our featured indie giveaway series event, I'd like to share with you my review of the prize polishes--Cassini and Viking from  Doctor Lacquer. These are two gorgeous multichrome flakies from her most recent Something Spatial collection. So let's take a look, shall we?

Cassini is a multichrome microflakie in a clear base that shifts from purple, violet and green. The formula of this polish is just a tad bit on the thicker side so a little goes a long way--you don't need anything but a single swipe to get the full effect! The swatches below show just 1 thin coat over 2 coats of Revlon Royale, topped with 1 generous coat of G&G's HK Girl topcoat. Though hard-pressed to pick, this was my favorite of the two!

Viking is a multichrome microflakie in a clear base that shifts from reddish copper to green. The formula of Viking was a little thinner than that of Cassini but needed just as little to explode in multi-color beauty! The swatches below show just 1 thin coat over 2 coats of Revlon Royale, topped with 1 generous coat of G&G's HK Girl topcoat. So, so gorgeous!

And here's a comparison between Cassini, on the index and ring fingers, and Viking, on the middle and pinkie fingers, 1 coat of each over 2 coats of Revlon Royale, topped with 1 generous coat of G&G's HK Girl topcoat.

...and MATTED, with 1 coat of Butter London Matte Finish topcoat!
