Hi there, my darlings! Most of you already know how much I love the Fall--it's by far my favorite season! Winter is much too cold in NYC and Summer is much too hot. While Spring is pleasant enough, it's in the Fall that I'm happiest! I love the cooler temperatures, the fashion trends with boots and a cardigan or shawl, the comfort food. But mostly, I love the rich, vibrant colors of Fall! Fall brings me the makeup hues that I wait for all year--warm nudes, sexy metallics and vampy reds, berries and burgundies. It’s time to put your lipsticks on notice. The Amore Matte Lip Crème has arrived. This revolutionary, highly saturated liquid-to-matte formula dries to a soft, velvety finish for fuller-looking lips. Its double-sided, flexible plush applicator hugs the contours of lips, working to lock in bold, opaque color. Non-sticky, smooth and ready for all-night wear (up to 16 hours!) our Amore Matte Lip Crème is the ultimate transfer resistant kiss-me-matte.

I've admittedly been dying to try these so when I got in touch with Milani, these were the very first things I requested. And with the launch of the ten new Fall shades, I just knew I was in for a treat!

First of all, I love the applicator! Slightly tapered, this wedge shaped applicator eliminates the need for a liner--I was able to line and fill in my lips with the applicator alone. If you've used mattes in the past, you know it's all about precision and getting the application just right--mistakes are difficult to correct when your lipstick dries down! This is perfect for a hassle-free, no-mess application!

As for the shades themselves, I pretty much love every single one of them! Perfect for the Fall AND the upcoming holidays, these rich shades are super pigmented, smooth and very easy to apply. I bet you can find the perfect vampy or neutral shade, no matter what your skin tone!

The formula itself isn't particularly hydrating but they are not uncomfortable or overly drying either. I did a wear test with Magnetic and it lasted for an entire, 4 course meal--once on and fully dry, these DO NOT BUDGE! However, I do want to remind you to definitely exfoliate your lips and apply a little balm to them before applying your matte of choice--I forgot to exfoliate and I did experience a little flaking after dinner. At the end of the night, definitely use a good, oil-based makeup remover or straight-up coconut oil to remove.
