Metallic Must-Haves for Fall from SALLY HANSEN

Hi there, my darlings! You know how certain nail polishes seem to just be made for a certain season?! Pastels cremes for Spring, neon mattes for Summer, shimmers for Winter? Well, Fall definitely has a finish too--metallics! Those sexy metallic shades of gold, silver, bronze etc just really work with the Fall color scheme, don't they? Today, I'll be sharing three such sexy metallics from Sally Hansen in their signature MIRACLE GEL™ formula that will complement your Fall wardrobe this year!

Rock On is a silver metallic accented with tiny black glitters. Fabulous formula and application--the swatches below show 2 easy coats. I usually don't like to put a topcoat on metallics--it always seems to dull the effect. But, for comparison, the swatches below show the polish topped with 1 thin coat of 2X Volume topcoat on the index and middle fingers and no topcoat on the ring and pinkie fingers. I'm admittedly not a big fan of these little added glitters to a silver but the silver itself is gorgeous!

Game of Chromes is a shimmery, shifty pale gold metallic. Lovely formula and application--the swatches below show 2 easy coats. Again, for comparison, the swatches below show the polish topped with 1 thin coat of 2X Volume topcoat on the index and middle fingers and no topcoat on the ring and pinkie fingers. This is seriously such a gorgeous gold! And don't even get me started on the name!

Stilettos and Studs is a gunmetal gray in an almost jelly-like formula, accented with the hint of a beautiful blue shimmer. No complaints with formula or application--the swatches below show 3 thin coats, no topcoat. My favorite of the three, the hidden shimmer is to die for!
