Paint the Town RED with RIMMEL!

Hi there, my darlings! I'm going to start this post off with a not-so-secret secret--I'm a lipstick fiend! You all probably already know my obsession with nail polish but if anything rivals that collection, it's my stash of lippies. But, I'm pretty predictable when it comes to picking shades--I LOVE REDS. Both in polish and definitely for lipstick! There's just something about this color family that I naturally gravitate towards--the sexy crimsons, berries and bright reds are totally my thing. But, notice how I said color "family" and not just color. Because "red" is not just one color. No, no. As any true makeup lover will gladly attest, you have tones and undertones and nuances galore. From reds as bright as blood to reds as dark as cherries, you have an entire range to explore. Today, we take a look at 4 starkly different reds from Rimmel.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate in Muse Red and Idol Red

Both these shades are incredibly pigmented and go on so easily with just a couple of quick swipes. Muse Red (51) is more of a bright true red while Idol Red (52) has a distinct orange undertone. Both are absolutely gorgeous!

Rimmel London Only 1 Lipstick in Best of the Best

I've reviewed and loved several of the Only 1 shades a few months ago--you can read about those HERE. This particular shade is a berry red which has quickly become one of my favorites! It goes on with the pigmentation of a matte lipstick but is as comfortable and moisturizing as any creme. A true multi-tasker!

Rimmel London Oh My Gloss! in Rebel Red

This is my first experience with this line of glosses and although, I typically stay away from glosses, much preferring the feel of a good matte or a creme, I like this one! It's not too too sticky and it's pigmented enough that you don't have to pile it on! I can definitely see myself layering this on my more unforgiving mattes once the colder temperatures hit.
