Looking and Feeling Special with the ELIZABETH ARDEN Fall 2014 Collection

Hi there, my darlings! Today's post is one I've been working on for quite awhile and have been saving up for just the right time! With this weekend marking the end of Daylight Savings Time and the weather finally dipping below the 50s, it's time to showcase the Elizabeth Arden Fall 2014 collection! A luxurious collection by all means!

The new fragrance, UNTOLD ABSOLU is the new version of the original Untold fragrance released in 2013 and the lighter version released in April 2014. Absolu is described as being "composed of a blend of luxurious flowers combined with red plum and black currant resting on a magnetic base of amber. Fruity notes of red plum and black currant leave a juicier and sweeter impression, blending rich floral aromas, additionally warmed with amber.UNTOLD ABSOLU is warmer, fruitier and more floral than the previous two, and arrives in a flacon with the same form as previous editions, in somewhat darker, golden-yellow shade."

I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Arden's fragrances and Arden Beauty is one of my personal go-to scents. This is an intense floral and would be fabulous for a night out on the town--if you're a fan of Red Door, you will love UNTOLD ABSOLU. (Retail $54.00; 1.7 fl oz)

The Fall collection for 2014 also introduces two Limited Edition Beautiful Color Eye Shadow Quads--one in Chic Brown and one in Posh Purple. Shown below is Chic Brown, a quartet of earthy, neutral shades for a warmer Fall palette. And the best part? The clear sleeve acts as a guide to create the perfect smoky eye look using these four shades. Great pigmentation and blends quite well as long as you use a primer. (Retail $40.00)

Out of the six new shades of Beautiful Color Precision Glide Eyeliners, I reviewed Java, a chocolate brown, and Slate, a dark charcoal gray. These pencils are soft, pliant and go on very smoothly. They blend quite well but just don't use the blending ends of the liners themselves--I found blending with them not an easy task. Go simple and just use a cotton swab-- (Retail $22.00)

The Fall collection introduces two new Limited Edition Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Gloss--one in Intriguing Violet and the other in Glamorous Gold. As shown below, Glamorous Gold is a gorgeous clear gloss packed with gold shimmer--just one swipe over your fave lippie and your lips will sparkle! (Retail $18.00)

Finally, here's a special look I created using all the products above. A softer, warmer smoky eye and a glossy berry-toned lip made me feel oh-so-gorgeous and very ready for Fall!
