5 SALLY HANSEN Red Nail Polishes That Are Perfect For Valentine's Day!

Hi there, my darlings! Tomorrow is the big day--one of the most beloved and/or most annoying days of the year! Take your pick, depending on your personal feelings. But I' a glass half-full kinda girl so I personally love Valentine's Day! Sure, it's cheesy and yes, it's often over-hyped. But a day dedicated to showing your special someone how much you care? I see absolutely nothing wrong with that! Yeah, of course, it would be ideal if every day was a day you showed your special someone that but life gets busy and although that's no excuse, the reality is often far from idealistic expectations. So, why not have a day when you make sure you tell people you care?! I, for one, single as I may be, am all for it! Of course, the sparkly hearts, plethora of sugary goodies and the over-use of one of my favorite colors (RED!) may just play a part too!So, in honor of Valentine's Day, I have put together 5 red polishes from Sally Hansen that I was saving just for this very occasion!

Before we get to swatches, let's take a quick minute to talk about the formula and application of these polishes. These are picks from the Miracle Gel and Complete Salon Manicure lines--each is a creme, although I find most SHs to apply more like crellies. Across the board, each of these applied smoothly and easily. Opaque in two easy coats, swatches below show 2 coats--for the sake of comparison, I showed each polish on its own on the index and pinkie fingers and topped with 1 thin coat of Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel on the middle and ring fingers. I have to say I prefer them with topcoat! Ready to take a peek at these gorgeous reds?!

All Fired Up is a vibrant orange-toned red. Very appropriately named because it does look like fiery flames to me!

Off With Her Red! is a juicy, cherry tomato red. Known as a "true red", this shade is red in all its glory!

Redgy wears like a coral rather than a true red on me but it has enough of a red undertone to be placed in the shade family. Am I right?!

Red My Lips is a sexy dark red. I like to think of this one as a lipstick red, maybe because some of my fave lippies are in this exact shade!

Rhapsody Red is a bright watermelon red. Another classic, I would love this for Summer!

These shades are quite close to each other, shade-wise but are they dupes? You decide for yourself!

From thumb, clockwise: All Fired Up, Off Wih Her Red!, Redgy, Red My Lips and Rhapsody Red.

So there you have it, my darlings! You can find these and other Miracle Gel and Complate Salon Manicure polishes at your local CVSRiteAidWalgreensWalmartKmart or Ulta (among other fine retailers) for the price of $9.99 (prices may vary in different states) . 7. The most well-known clarification for the association between happiness and beauty depends on financial matters and evolution. From a transformative point of view, beauty can satisfy us since attractiveness suggests health, which infers substantial regenerative capacities, allowing us to pull in progressively active mates.
